- From £79.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 1,338 reviewsWe arrived to the hotel on a business trip, it was cold and we were tired. They told us we had double booked. Then things changed. Fouzia helped us organize everything with a huge, contagious smile on her face. We had a beer in the bar and the day turned around just like that. While we were there Elena arrived for her shift, and carried the same energy as Fouzia and was an absolute pleasure to speak to. The hotel is clean with ample rooms, great value for money and ideally located to the city center. Any with staff like this I cant recommend enough. Thanks!Guest review byJoshuaSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsOn arrival Yana gave us a really friendly welcome with lots of information regarding the local area and her botel. Yana went above and beyond to recommend somewhere to eat and make a table reservation for us. The cabin was well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We had everything we needed and enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful stay and a good night’s sleep. There was a good variety of breakfast items, all cooked fresh and of good quality. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.Guest review byTonyUnited Kingdom
- From £92.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 592 reviewsStayed for a short weekend and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to some great walking and cycling routes. The view from the garden alone is worth the visit. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a bit of vintage charm. Staff were friendly and accommodating. If you're looking to recharge and relax in a scenic spot, this is a great choice. Would definitely come back, maybe next time with bikes.Guest review byStefanyBelgium
- From £92.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,336 reviewsI booked for twin beds but when we arrived it was 2 single beds put together as a double bed. But the staff kindly split it into 2 single beds. The hotel is about 10-15 min walk from the train station. And the receptionist is really nice and offered us champagne when we arrived. There is a beautiful lake behind the hotel.Guest review by亦辰China

The location was peaceful and the accommodation very comfortable. We enjoyed walking through the woods in the evening to a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake. It was an easy drive into Maastrict and also the pretty village of Oud Rekem - both worth a visit. We did not go into Lanaken itself as our time there was too short.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

As someone who has stayed at this charming family run hotel I would thoroughly recommend the RS10 to anyone staying in Turnhout. Clean, comfortable and your hosts Fatima and Rubin are lovely folk who look after you so well.Guest review byKennyUnited Kingdom - 4.0

The beds are really uncomfortable being wrapped in plastic, the airco wasn't working properly and the oven on which we where counting for our dinner wasn't there. The renter couldn't offer us a solution.Guest review byGuidoNetherlands - 8.0

I liked the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The view from the window was superb - a lake with birds and a nice terrace with table and chairs. I was not impressed that I could not get breakfast at the hotel. Instead I had to visit another restaurant at center parcs.Guest review byStephen DennisGermany - 4.0
We have stayed before and it was good.
We have stayed before and it was good. This time, however, we were not informed that the restaurant was closed. It's in a remote place so having to get back in the car after a long journey didn't suit us. The windmill was covered with scaffolding - again, not informed that workmen were around. Only one other guest, and hosts were not present until we waited 20/30 minutes for them to come to let us in, and the woman came back for breakfast (which had to be chosen on arrival by way of a tick-sheet). As I said, it's in a remote place so nowhere to walk to; around 20 mins drive to town or shopping outlet. Sadly, the changes have turned it into a place we won't be visiting again.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short.
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short. I am either passing through or stopping over from one of my many adventures through Europe, it is always a pleasure to see Isle & Peter. Seems like I have know them for years but I have only visited them on two occasions one just before Christmas last year and one a couple of days ago. This time I brought my friend with me to enjoy the experience and it was a sheer joy to come back and share it with him, as always Isle & Peter were the perfect hosts, didn't put a foot wrong and were happy to chat whenever they had time. The sheer beauty of the surrounding is heavenly if you want some peace and quiet from the busy lifestyle if only for a short break. Can't wait for my next visit to see Isle & Peter again.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The town has interested me for some time because of the geopolitical layout of it, as I'm sure will draw others to it as well. I really enjoyed spending the day exploring this further. As a downside, most of the town shut down on Monday — something I should have realised before planning things, but I've learned for next time.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Geel has a rich and varied history.
Geel has a rich and varied history. There was fierce World War Two fighting here a prelude to the massive Airborne operation, the subject of the film "A Bridge too Far". On the other hand the town pioneered the care of the mentally ill in the community as opposed to institutions about 150 years ago. Also has great restaurents around the town square.Guest review byanthonyCanada - 10.0

The place was very cozy and clean, the location of this house was very beautiful, situated next to the Vijverzicht lake. The house contained all of the necessary things needed for a stay. Perfect location to travel around the Limburg area, with very good access to grocery shoppings and restaurants in the vicinity. Close to Maastricht as well. Very good value for money.Guest review byJánSlovakia - 6.0

Turnhout is pleasant enough, but not the most interesting place in Belgium. The town centre is walkable but there isn’t a lot to see. There are a lot of vacant shops and the commercial centre looks like it’s not doing too well. The train service to Antwerp and Brussels is OK. The highlights are the playing card museum, the main square, the castle and the churches. To be honest, I don’t know why anyone would visit Turnhout unless you had something specific to do there, as I had. Last year I was in Leuven, which is well worth a visit.Guest review byJohnIreland
