- From £112.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsGreat communication even before we arrived and we received a lovely welcome from Annick. The room was incredible, we felt like we’d arrived in a luxury apartment, it was so well appointed in a rustic, shabby chic style. Comfortable huge bed with a rural view and sunset from the mezzanine level. Fabulous rain showerhead and twin sinks for the bathroom. Mini kitchenette with everything you’d need to cook yourself, although there are restaurants and a carrefour supermarket just 10mins drive away in Kortenaker. We arrived during a heatwave and the room wasn’t unbearable, cooling down at night, despite no air conditioning. The B&B is located within a pear orchard with rural views, peace and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, continental style with eggs freshly cooked, fresh buns and sweet pastries from the local bakery, jams, juice, cereal, everything was delicious. Annick and Jürgen were the perfect hosts, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom
- From £128.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 600 reviewsHotel was within spitting distance of the square. Wonderful place to people watch with plenty of bar/cafes. The hotel was relaxed and the staff were great. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable indeed. Actually, the rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast was great. Plenty of food, orange juice and tea. A good start to the day. We will certainly return on our next trip to Diest.Guest review bymichaelUnited Kingdom

Diest is really understated.
Diest is really understated. There are some lovely historic parts of the town to explore, the Grand Place has some very good restaurants and it's surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's a very calm, peaceful place to visit. Our favourite restaurant was Nicky's Catwalk in the Grand Place.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A very pretty little town.
A very pretty little town. Very clean and safe to walk and cycle around. Lots of eating and drinking options and plenty of shops. There is a very nice river running through town. From the bar at the back of Jacos Bar/Restaurant you can sit and watch the ducks on the river.Guest review byClausDenmark - 10.0

Diest is a charming small town in Belgium that offers everything a family could need. During our 8-day stay, we enjoyed the beautiful old town, filled with cozy cafés, restaurants, and pubs, as well as lovely local stores alongside major brands. The town is surrounded by clean air and lush greenery, making it a refreshing place to relax. Halve Maan Park was a highlight, with its outdoor pool and sand beach, perfect for family fun. The park also offers golf, children’s playgrounds, and free access to most areas, including parking in the nearby forest. One of the most fascinating aspects of Diest is the Beguinage, a UNESCO-protected site dating back to the 13th century. The history of these communities, founded by single women who supported and protected each other, is truly inspiring. Diest's excellent location also makes it a convenient base for exploring other cities, with a train station that connects directly to the heart of Brussels. The people of Diest are incredibly polite, welcoming, and laid-back, which made our experience even more enjoyable.Guest review byilustratorkaSerbia - 10.0

I had never been before in Aarschot. But it is a very nice city to visit. Many beautifull housese, old begijnhof... It is not a big city, but from here you can make trips to the surrounding city's, Scherpenheuvel, diest..Guest review byErikBelgium
