- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 106 reviewsCould not write a more positive review, we booked last minute as on route for travelling. Staff were amazing and called to organise everything. Room was immaculately clean, venue could not be faulted, breakfast was excellent. We will 100% be back (in fact, we are planning another trip specifically to visit here again!) Hands down, the best place I have stayed. It was far better than suites I have stayed in costing 10x as much.Guest review byDeanUnited Kingdom

Beautiful and pleasantly atmospheric city.
Beautiful and pleasantly atmospheric city. We were in the Yalo Boutique Hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre. Great centre with lively bars, but also quiet side streets with great restaurants and plenty of outside seating everywhere. Very relaxed atmosphere with all age groups enjoying the evening ambience. Plenty of attractions including stunning churches and the Castle of the Counts, boat trips and museums - University Science museum very good with excellent interactive information screens. Ghent is nicely situated in Belgium for trips to Bruges, Oostende and Brussels.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Roeslare is a charming city in Belgium known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and welcoming atmosphere. It offers a perfect blend of historical landmarks, modern amenities, and a lively local scene. Visitors can explore the beautiful Rumbeke Castle, enjoy shopping in the bustling city center, or savor Belgian cuisine in its many cozy cafés and restaurants. The city's warm hospitality and well-maintained surroundings make it an excellent destination for both relaxation and exploration. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Roeslare promises a delightful experience.Guest review byK MarzoukQatar - 10.0

Small city where concert guests know all police and security. It looked that it was enough of security to look at someone and they knew to not give any trouble. Concert guests shaked hands with security and police and was super friendly environment also for strangers - not what you exactly expect from techno party ;-))) but was super happy to see nice and normal partying - people knew tomorrow is also a day and must look into eyes of my own small town people. They were all super friendly towards strangers like us also.Guest review byMalleEstonia - 10.0

Close to the motorway network in a quiet affluent suburb of Ghent. Riverside location High quality hotel with good staff. The house wine was a Grand Cru St Emilion, and was outstanding! Good parking, altogether a nice place to stay after a long day in a 70 year old car! geared to corporate / events / anniversaries, but looked after us very well. It rounded off a 7 day 1500 mile driving holiday really well...and comfortably under two hours to the Tunnel.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Clearly not a tourist destination, but suited our needs. Nothing much here other than car showrooms and a few pretty boring towns. We enjoyed the peace of the lake but nothing else exciting to do here other than visit ghent.Guest review byFranceskaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We were in Ghent during a long summer festival.
We were in Ghent during a long summer festival. If you like festivals this is good, it was definitely lively. We were pleased we hadn't booked accommodation right in the centre of town as it would have been very noisy at night. We found that the festival structures obscured the historic buildings in the town centre which was disappointing. Easy town to walk around. Easy train access for day trips - we went to Oostende (don't bother) and Brugge (fabulous).Guest review byHughAustralia - 10.0
Kortrijk exceeded our expectations, its a very interesting...
Kortrijk exceeded our expectations, its a very interesting place full of Belgian (Flanders) and European history, including the "Battle of the Golden Spurs" (1302) and a flourishing textile (flax) industry that rivaled the wool industry in Brugge in the Middle Ages and continues today. Don't miss the Textile Museum and the free high-tech video presentation at the Church of Our Lady for the history of the battle between the French and Flemish. Kortrijk has many place to stay and eat at a wide range of reasonable prices. The town is very walkable to all tourist attractions.Guest review byCharlesBelgium - 10.0

Unfortunately this was a business trip and I did not get time to explore Roeselare. We did eat at the Hotel which had a good variety of food choices. Great breakfast choice and very quiet at night. This is especially great for business travelers. The location was great as the company's location was withing 10 mins of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.Guest review byRajeshUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We liked the modern architecture.
We liked the modern architecture. We liked the modern decor of our room with its large screen television which had programmes in at least 3 languages. The lighting was particularly well designed. There was a well stocked fridge and a teasmade. It was so quiet that we could have been the only ones there. The restaurant by contrast was absolutely full of local diners. The friendly and helpful staff though worked off their feet took the trouble to explain the menu and to seat us in a quieter corner. The self service breakfast was plentiful and attractively displayed. The improvements we would suggest include a more obvious entrance with a designated parking place near the door. The free parking area is not obvious to a new visiter. The shower room is constructed to suit tall people. Small people like me find the shelves too high and the gap between toilet and toilet paper too big a stretch. For safety reasons in the shower itself it would be better if there were grab rails or handles to aid balance and a shelf for toiletries so that you don't have to bend down to get them. We felt that all the staff were anxious to make a real success of this new hotel which is why I have written at such length.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom
