The staff speak French, so if you don't be prepared to muddle through. The hearth in the main room is the highlight, guests come and go from sitting around it all day. The breakfast is wonderful, and the best free continental breakfast I have ever had. The coffee was perfect... and I'm picky. I had 6 and 4 year old children with me, and they loved it. The Hotel sits on top of a ridge overlooking Boullion and the Semois River. It has a great terrace which is where I ate dinner. The global atmosphere of the hotel. The stylish restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Breakfast was also fantastic with bubbles (cava) and a large choice of top qualily products. The castle is unmissable.
The castle is unmissable. The walking in the area is excellent. The Tombeau du Geant and the Belvedere viewing platform near Bouillon are well worth visiting. The bus to Corbion (once per day out and back) allows access to walking in the Rochehaut and Cretes-de-Frahan area - also beautiful.Guest review byHelenBelgium - 6.0

The village itself is small and we didn't really explore, but in the surroundings there's plenty to do. We only stayed for two days, went to Bouillon Castle, Rochehaut and drove some scenic routes. Looks like a great area for mountain biking too.Guest review byEduardNetherlands - 10.0
A delightful place, full of possibilities for tourists.
A delightful place, full of possibilities for tourists. The castle is unmissable, of course, with its Museum of Printing and Writing and the birds of pray amusing show (and also the lights show in the night which takes place also in the other parts of the city), but do not miss the Ducal Museum and the Archoscope. There are planty of restaurants so one can find something suitable. Walkng around the city and on the hills is a pleasure. Try the walk to the Abbey for some excellent cookies in its shop and continue further to the "Thorn" perdestrian bridge and to the "Giant's Tomb" exceptional view. You can also rent a pedal-boat to have some fun on the river. Finally, a ZOO awaits in the vincinity of the town, and you can get there on the little bus-train :=)Guest review byAndrzejBelgium - 8.0

Bouillon is a small town with a lot of vacant stores and...
Bouillon is a small town with a lot of vacant stores and houses. The small centre has a limited number of restaurants and drinking establishments. The higher parts of the town are dominated by hotels, and of course the famous fort. Of course, the fort is the highlight of the town and a great location to visit for a day or two, including a fun birds of prey show.Guest review byRichardNetherlands
