This time, we noticed that the name of the owner in the booking for Cor de Chasse had changed. Our dear previous host retired. We were very happy with how the new owner approached us, how she carries on the quality works of the previous owner and how the rooms are very genuine.
Good beds, good shower and water pressure. Everything clean. Also recommended: relaxing and talking at the hotels’ salon on the first floor with its Honesty bar that holds all kinds of drinks, the tasteful breakfast.
A delight to stay. Thanks and would visit again!

Czech RepublicVery nice, cozy, clean, in a small village so very peaceful. The heating was on, so it was nicely warm. Only about 15min drive from Bastogne. The owners are very nice, it's a pity that they only speak French. But they explain easily, slowly, they show everything, so it's not a problem. They live in the same house, so it was not a problem that we arrived later due to traffic jams. We were offered breakfast, but we didn't order one. There was a small welcome suprise, peanuts and candies, also coffee, tea, sugar at disposal, and kitchen well equipt. Towels, soup and shampoo also at disposal. We were very satisfied 🙂

Every detail in this family house has its character and you can feel how much effort and love was invested in it. Impressive nature around. When you drive through the town, you cannot even imagine how much beauty awaits for you at this B&B. We enjoyed so much walking near the property: you cross a bridge over a small river and have a view on the small forest and fields. Also, close to the house there are fields where horses are kept - we took a while to adore them. Many thanks to George for showing us their beautiful garden and the water mill! It was interesting to see all those family pictures around the house as well. Hosts were sweet and flexible, taking in consideration that we made kind of the last-minute reservation in the afternoon when they did not expect it and were in Bruxelles :). We had a very special breakfast with tasty cheese, home-made bread & jams (the apricot one with rosemary is special) & apple juice. The indoor pool was great - a little cool, but having one glass wall with the evening sun streaming in, what's not to like! Ample parking with a lovely restaurant almost in the grounds of the car park. The hotel has a lovely bar and the breakfast was ample including freshly made omelettes. The staff are super friendly and made us feel very much at home. Lovely surprise on arrival, the owner had lit the wood burner some hours before, so the downstairs area was warm and cosy despite the freezing temperatures outside. Gave us some more wood the following day, to keep the stove working for the whole time. Owner very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Plenty of space and facilities for our group of 9, bedrooms, showers, bathrooms etc. Walked down to St Hubert (about 10 minutes) then up the other side of the valley to the animal park saw different species of deer, goats and ponies. The birds were all inside because of the cold. Lovely views of frosted trees and fields despite the fog. Part of the group went ice skating in La Roche, about 20 minutes away by car. New Year's day we walked in the Fôret Provincial at Mirwart despite the wind. Lots of well marked trails which would be good in spring and summer. Woke up the next day to snow - children all dressed and outside playing by 7:30 The roads were cleared quickly so driving was not a problem. Our hosts were wonderful. This is a special place for anyone with historical connections to the 1944 Battle of the Bulge. But it is a very nice place to visit in any case...beautiful rural setting. The area is very panoramic and peaceful. We particularly liked that there are numerous walking tours well explained and of different length, also suitable for children.
