- From £108.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 5,895 reviewsAbsolutely! We had booked a stay with a different hotel 9 minutes away by car but our son’s basketball team all stayed here. So I booked our last night here so we could check out the ocean view and be closer to restaurants and the beach to have the convenience of just walking up for the night vs driving back to the other hotel further out. We all agreed this was the better view, and room. We didn’t stay for breakfast bc we had a game though.Guest review byKaraUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 626 reviewsThe mobile home was comfy and clean, incredibly well equipped. The lady we spoke to was lovely! The site was conveniently located for the town and was immaculate. The little welcome pack contained a loo roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and washing up sponge, brush and cloths. The bed was comfy, and although there is limited room around the bed to get dressed, the rest of the unit had ample space.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom
- From £146.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,110 reviewsAside from the beautiful location, I must say the hosts were absolutely incredible. It started out with us getting an upgrade to one of their beautiful villas, and after an amazing stay, they even helped us when our flight back home got cancelled; they helped find a suitable alternative and even let us stay half a day longer, free of charge. We're incredibly grateful, and will definitely be back ☺️Guest review byMelindaHungary

The Operation Dynamo 1940 museum was well done and definitely worth a visit. Our walk along the promenade and the beach were both lovely. There are plenty of reasonable places to eat, both on the seafront and by the harbour. The sculptures garden was good fun and again well worth a visit.Guest review byTamsynUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great location, views from the balcony were amazing ! All round terrace so views from every room. Lift access from a free car parking space underneath the building. Kitchen had everything you need for but if you are coming by car remember to bring the little things like coffee, tea and sugar and a tea towel and maybe a coat hanger or two, me personally lived out of my case so it did not bother me too much but my friend hand her clothes on the coat pegs in the hallway. Not a biggie. There is a Lidl and Aldi about a mile away which was handy, but we did not see any other shops close by, it was February so possibly the shops are seasonal. Transport links very good, and we caught the coastal tram to Ostend which was just under 8 euros for a day pass, so you can hop on and off all day. I cannot say anything negative about the apartment and would highly recommendGuest review byrachelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Yper/Leper is a small but important medieval town rich in history of a successful commercial community and all that it brought to a wider europe. It played a prominent part in the World War 1 and the tragedy of that event can be observed, or consider deeper, within the town. A visit to the Last Post at 8.00 each evening is a must, and will be unforgettable. Good food, local beer, chocolates of course, all in a tightly packed town with memorable architecture, hidden corners and always something new. Lots of walks, including around the water barrier perimeter, trees in abundance. Plus museums and art galleries. See well and eat well.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The Beach at Koksijde is absolutely stunning.
The Beach at Koksijde is absolutely stunning. There are plenty of Restraunts and beach bars. Friday Mornings there is a street market with local belgian foods and other small business vendors. Everything you could want on a beach vacation is easily accessible on ZeeLaan (Main Street) Taking advantage of the KustTram you can travel from DePanne to Ostende (where you can catch the train to Brugge - a definite must see)Guest review byR CraigUnited States - 2.0

We have decided to have a short nap at the hotel on our vacation tour. We have visited the hotel at 3:30am, receptionist opened a door for us, quick check in. Spacious room for family of four. One double bed and two single. Double bed was in separate room. Each room had a tv. Bathroom was with shower and separate bath. Comfy beds, clean. Stain on carpet and broken some curtains. Car park was full at the time we have arrived, we had to park on lawn next to entrance, other cars did the same.Guest review byJakubUnited Kingdom - 10.0

As I was involved with the visit of the Dunkirk Little Ships to commemorate Operation Dynamo in 1940, I spent most of my time with them in the Basin de Commerce, and didn't explore Grande Synthe during my visit, therefore it would be unfair of me to comment on the area, other than to ay that what I saw of it, was very clean, fairly quiet with pleasant modern housing, and with an excellent bus service..... I'd live there !!Guest review byPatrick - 8.0

Spent most of my time visiting places across the border in French Flanders, but chose to stay just outside Poperinge owing to its location and ease to get to places in both Belgium and France. Went into the town on two evenings to eat at restaurants of which one was ok and the other excellent. The other evenings I went to nearby Ieper. For adults I think that there is ample to do and see in Poperinge and the surrounding area for a couple of days, particulary if you have an interest WW1 or beer, which fortunately I do.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We come here often for our work. Over the years the city government has done a lot to improve the facilities in the harbor & really renovate or should I say, upgrade the most popular tourist attractions of this historical city.Guest review byLiviaNetherlands
