We booked the two-bedroom apartment. Everything was just as described by the host. He was attentive despite being very busy overseeing workmen finishing the new swimming pool and other improvements. He served us an afternoon tea, an excellent dinner of roast lamb and a superb fresh continental breakfast the next morning. The location of the place is very peaceful and picturesque right on the lake shore.

    I must give a big thumbs up for the overall cleanliness, amenities and friendly staff. The inside pool and spa were great additions. I enjoyed spending time in the sauna and the nice refreshing swim afterwards. The food was good, and it came in a great variety. It was almost impossible to not find something to your liking. I really appreciated the fact that the staff was very careful, and kept cleaning the tables. The hotel room was very cozy, the beds comfortable, the bathroom HUGE and the air conditioning PERFECT! It was my best experience so far! Overall I'm very pleased and I strongly recommend this location. I will definitely come back.

    We liked everything, location remote, not crowded, user friendly, beach 🏖 friendly everything perfect fir family with kids. When entering, the front face is awful, don't get triked into it, get inside, it's heaven for kids and yourself. Even if we missed the towels in the room, even if the front desk guy was insufficient trained for our check in... We can forget all of this and offer maximum level of recommendation. There's everything there even open supermarket until 23h.. We're comming back for sure to spend long weekends.

    The location is incredible—perched on the Kavarna Hills with amazing sea views. The gardens are really well looked after, full of flowers, and the whole place feels calm and peaceful. Staff were genuinely kind and professional. I really enjoyed the food—Geti is great for a finer dining, while Argata has a more relaxed, beachy vibe. I’ve been to a lot of places, and it’s rare I have nothing to complain about—but Thracian Cliffs honestly left me impressed especially given it was not even high season and we don’t play golf.

Bar service is good. The entertainment program was wonderful, great job to the entertainment team! It was a pleasant 6 days 5 nights stay in the hotel! Highly recommended to those who love beach and hassle-free vacation! 👍

    Golden sands now is very turistic and way too crowded.

    Golden sands now is very turistic and way too crowded. The walking corridor along the beach and the hotels now is full of stores and restaurants and sometimes you cannot even walk. There are several things to explore in the area besides de beach ( which to me is better towards Varna than golden sands). Varna sea garden, and harbor are a nice thing to explore while you are there. Also other historical places as the Ovech fortress or the aladhza monastery are good options. We also took our chances and went to Nesebar old town ( 2 hours from varna) totally worthed.

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city...

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city. It has a large park, a less impressive pedestrian street, and a long beach that is crowded and littered (lots of cigarette butts are scattered around). There are a few scattered socialist-era sights still in the city. I would recommend visiting the nearby Balchik instead.

    It's a great place to visit for a chill vaycay. Aside from the unique setting there are less points if interest than expected. The palace and it's gardens was great and huge, you should set aside an entire day for it if you plan to see it. The beach was okey, the main one is on the smaller side, it's in a janky area aswell but it was not overcrowded. There was also an odd tiny beach but we didn't go there. It seemed terrible to be honest. A road between the sand and the water and a strip of rock and gravel between the road and water. Have transport if you are staying further into the town. The whole place is on a series of steep hills, that is a lot of upward walking in the blistering heat.

The House steak bar and grill Tonus Sebastopol andl Dukov are out favourite places to eat Amphora cafe is not to be missed run by a beautiful family and have the best cakes in Obzor.

    Kranevo is a lovely place, you can park at the beach so, if you have mobility issues you can still get into the sea. Restaurants on the beach are clean and very good value for money. The beach is level and very good for children as it is shallow for a long way out.

    Kavarna is a little town, if you like big really crowded places maybe this one is not for you. Plenty of places and things to do in the area, lovely beaches and natural beauty. Nice bars and restaurants in the center of the town, food and value for the money is perfect. You will need a car to travel around to see things, not that far away from Kavarna is a mussel farm and restaurant, snail farm and restaurant, vineyard and orchards where you can buy fresh apple juice.

    To get to the city center from the location we were hosted was very easy. 10 minutes walking to arrive the restaurants area (which were plenty and with good foods).     The beach is very nice and cleen I stayed at Flamingo Grand Hotel fot 7 nights And that was ok.but the staff should have smiie more. Thei make very good pizza all over the place. It is easy to travel around Albena For me was very nice to go to Varna and Dobrich.

    It has a good position, close to Balcik, Kavala, and Cape Kaliakra. We loved the cuisine in the area, especially the Snail Farm restaurant, the Mussles Farm restaurant, and Balcon del Mundo. People are more friendly here than in other areas in Bulgaria.
