We had a great stay at Germain's as a base to explore Ganvié. Christopher kept in touch with me before hand suggesting an itinerary to make the most of my stay. The options and pricing were really clear as well as the times. He made the transfers to and from Ganvié really easy. The staff were lovely. The food was great. It was a nice location outside the centre of town. Other hotels seemed more in the town where it was noisy. It's a unique experience and Germain's is the best place to do that.

I highly recommend this hotel. The host picked us up at the port on time and took us by boat to the hotel. very pleasant hotel, well located, tasty food. very hospitable hosts.

It was so clean, so comfortable!!! I wanted to take the bed home with me!!! 🙈 the staff so friendly and so helpful!! Was a trip I would never forget !!! Unfortunately dint realize all the amenities that the hotel had (like the casino, the cinema) it was on the last day I found out and dint get to enjoy those but such an amazing hotel!!! The staff are very kind and friendly. Marco, the owner is really nice and helps in any way. The location is perfect just across the beach. The food is amazing. Tasty and very diverse.

A perfect simple hotel. Well located, clean and charming staff

We chose this hotel because of its location, breakfast, gym and pool. On arrival, we were asked to pay 50% of the total reservation, which felt rather awkward. There are different areas where you can have a drink or a meal- the poolside, a bar area in the lobby and the restaurant by the lobby. The breakfast and the food we had over the stay for lunch or dinner was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The breakfast team was exceptionally kind, the chef was top, and the produce was fresh and excellent quality. The room was larger than what you would expect when you book a standard room, and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. The room attendant was extremely professional and helpful, it was pleasant to see them everyday around the corridors. The room was perfectly cleaned when we came back at the end of each day, and we were impressed by the kindness of our attendant in particular. We must say that this hotel has excellent air conditioning in the rooms as well as in the common areas. The highlight of the hotel is the pool, which is really clean. The poolside has beautiful beds with curtains and I strongly recommend you make some time to enjoy chilling in one of them during your stay; unfortunately the pool closes at 6pm. Two extras of this hotel are the beauty salon and the boutique located in the first unit as you enter the lobby. The boutique sells ready made or made to order clothes, and they are exceptionally fast when it comes to delivering orders on the next day or even on the same day if ordered early in the morning.
