Very nice hotel, unfortunatly couldn't use the hot tub because the hotel is new and it wasen't quite finish. We got to see it, it will definetly be a great place to relax when it opens. We loved the delicious breakfast, personnel so nice and friendly, also what we really appreciated was the fact that the meals were served on a hot plates. The hotel is slightly outside the center but very easy to reach by the bus that stops in front of the hotel. We were given passes to use the bus all though our stay. Won't need to use the car

The room was large, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Rocky Mountain Soap Co bathroom products offered some appreciated aromatherapy and were a lovely way to support local business. Great bar, great coffee and a gorgeous fireplace to enjoy. The hot tub was also a hit. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great suggestion to visit the nearby Silvertip golf course - awesome setting for a relaxing drink or to walk the trails.

We wanted to visit the national park, hence Crnmore seemed a good choice. The hotel is at a convenient location, if you want to set off early, you are near the main road, although it is very quiet. There were some munnys jumbing on the street next to the building :). The rooms are quiet. we had a balcony and a fireplace which made it cosy. there is free coffee and tea. There is a fridge as well. I loved this place to be our base fro 5 days.

Banff is an interesting town to visit in the summer, with a quaint, slightly western, ski-town vibe. We were there for two days at the end of August, along with many other people! Picked our historic hotel, Mount Royal, based on location. Lots of quirky souvenir shops line the totally walkable streets as well as great restaurants. Quite a few nice places to just sit, relax, and grab a craft beer, and there's even a rooftop bar! Try the pizza at Three Bears Brewery on Bear St--it's to die for!! Coffee houses and tea shops are in the area too. Loved the free transportation to the scenic Gondola up Sulphur Mtn--a must do! You'll need a ticket as it gets quite crowded. Once at the top, take the deck walk all the way up (376 steps but they're spread out, plus have areas for scenic photos and/or to catch your breath). You'll be rewarded with great views of the Cascade mountain range with the town of Banff below. We had a champagne toast to our anniversary at the Skydeck Bistro for lunch (be sure to reserve as it is quite busy). Once back in town you can bus it to visit the stately, castle-like Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel located just outside of town, for a drink on the scenic patio of the Rundle Bar. Many steak/bison restaurants (Chuck's, Grizzly) are within walking distance in town, but we opted for a short taxi ride to have a mountain view sunset dinner at the Juniper Hotel Bistro's patio. Our last morning before heading out we grabbed some homemade granola and scones, with freshly brewed coffee, at the Wild Flour Bakery, open at 7am. We left Banff mid-morning and took the scenic route to Lake Louise for even more beautiful scenery and hiking. Highly recommend visiting Banff/Lake Louise area in the summer. It is a breathtakingly beautiful area!

Jasper is a great place to visit with lots of activities in around the town. Whilst it was badly affected by the wildfire in 2024 and you obviously still see the effects of this around the area, the town is very much open as are most tourist attractions and we should all support them.

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.

It was awful from start to finish way over charged it was worth more like 50$ a night than the 440$ a night I was charged- the room was old ,outdated , wifi only work when it felt like ( not often) the beds were so lumpy old mattress that my back was sore for days after their was dirt under the bed some previous renter had left their old cereal bits under the bed visible if the cleaning staff had bothered to look under the bed the very old shower leaked all over the floor the restaurant was lousy the food mediocre at best there is no reason to ever stay at this hotel it is a dump

What can I say except for WOW!

What can I say except for WOW! My husband and I were there in Sept/Oct and everywhere we turned was another magnificent view of a mountain, glacier, canyon, lake. We rented bikes and rode to Vermillion Lakes and beyond. We hiked up Johnston Canyon, we took easy and more challenging walks, and met people from around the world. We flew into Calgary, drove to Banff, then to Castle Junction and stayed in two places I would recommend - Johnston Canyon Lodge and Bungaloos and Castle Mountain Chalets. We had a great trip!

There are many other location in the Rocky Mountains nicer than Banff. The three days we stayed there it was crowded of people, very far what we expected in the mountains. All the attractions were crowded, in special the hot tubs. After seen the small pools crowded we refused to go into. Besides, the restaurants have crazy prices. Banff was the worst experience in our 3 weeks in Canada. Of course, we loved the environment, the glaziers, the trip from Jasper to Banff, but we recommend to sleep in Jasper or other locations instead of Banff.
