We liked the restaurants and pubs, wineries, local markets, taking in all the beautiful scenery and local tourist attractions. The food we had at Troy and the Library Pub was awesome. Loved all the seafood and varieties, as well as the different ways of preparation. We felt that the Stella Rose should be rated 4 out of 5 rather than 3 out of 5. The breakfasts were wonderful and very enjoyable.Guest review byCraigCanada - 8.0

We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.Guest review byDwayneCanada - 10.0

We were just passing through and found a reasonably priced motel (Orchard Queen Motel and RV Park). We ate at the Capitol pub which was fine..my wife loved the chowder. The next day we decided to stay in the general area and came back to the same motel for a second night. Middleton seemed like an interesting town but we didn’t look aroundGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The cabin is self-contained on a large family plot, alongside other cabins. There's access to a beach, railway trail and trails around the property. The property is within easy reach of the highway, so quick access to nearby towns. We mostly self-catered, including a BBQ on the deck, but Frank & Dora's nearby roadside and The Crow's Nest in Digby are both worth a visit for easy-going dining. Loved whale watching, hiking trails, lake swimming and kayaking.Guest review byMicheleUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Wolfville is right in the heart of everything on the Bay of Fundy coast. We loved having access to the city with lots of amenities - shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores - plus we were surrounded by wineries. We drove to Digby, a beautiful little town further down the coast and it was a spectacular drive along the coast. Much of this coastline reminds me of Ireland with the farms, churches, houses, and lighthouses dotted along the way.Guest review byMaureenUnited States - 10.0

The Farmer's market was fabulous with the music, the town crier, lovely variety of shops, and the beautiful location of the town. The museum of a few homes was very interesting to see as well as the fort and the gardens. Lots of small shops were welcoming. The benches along the shore to watch the sunset was popular. The town was clean and very attractive.Guest review byCarl - 10.0

We needed a place to stay the night when visiting my 91 year old Uncle. Even thou we only came from Truro the drive is just to long for my mother and myself. This is a trip that my mother and I have been making for the past few years once a year in the fall. The last two years we have stayed at this same Motel, it's clean, friendly staff and close.Guest review byBethCanada
