Truro is a charming town.
Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed. We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much. It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance. Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!Guest review byMillyCanada - 10.0
Digby is an ideal location on the Bay of Fundy.
Digby is an ideal location on the Bay of Fundy. Good restaurants and the Sea Biscuit Cafe is a must for excellent coffee and sandwiches. A visit to Annapolis 30km away is a must. Enjoyed scrumptuous lobster and scallops at Parker’s Cove at Crows Nest diner, a must to visit. Parker’s Cove is about a 15 minute drive from Annapolis.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0

We liked the restaurants and pubs, wineries, local markets, taking in all the beautiful scenery and local tourist attractions. The food we had at Troy and the Library Pub was awesome. Loved all the seafood and varieties, as well as the different ways of preparation. We felt that the Stella Rose should be rated 4 out of 5 rather than 3 out of 5. The breakfasts were wonderful and very enjoyable.Guest review byCraigCanada - 10.0

We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.Guest review byDwayneCanada - 8.0

We were just passing through and found a reasonably priced motel (Orchard Queen Motel and RV Park). We ate at the Capitol pub which was fine..my wife loved the chowder. The next day we decided to stay in the general area and came back to the same motel for a second night. Middleton seemed like an interesting town but we didn’t look aroundGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Several great local evening entertainments throughout the week (live music / bands / food / markets) , definitely visit Digby's long neck and go to Prim Point Lighthouse. Surprisingly little tourists compared to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove but much more laid back and enjoyable.Guest review byHilkeGermany - 10.0

great section of the Minas Bay region.- super for nature lovers. We enjoyed the cliffs and bluffs in this area: Joggins Fossil cliffs, Wasson Bluffs, Five Islands. Dinner at the Harborview restaurant was delicious.Guest review byRobinson - 8.0

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town muchGuest review byMichelynCanada - 10.0
