Great hostel, perfect location to the highway, and all the hikes that surround the facility. Staff was great & welcoming, and kept fires going. The town was quaint and delightful.
The town was quaint and delightful. Nice walkable small downtown. Lots of places to eat outside (we were there in summer). Lots of walking trails near and around the Bow River that runs right along Canmore. We ate at Murietta's Bar, the Table, and Das Schnitzel --- all wonderful. We hiked the Grassi Lakes Trail and did the Scenic River Nature Float --- also so good. This facility has lots to offer but it was crowded with families with kids - and the pool and hot tub area was so full there were no towels available and piles of used towels everywhere . It would be nice to visit in the summer or Fall to use the trails and other amenities as well .
