- From £108.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 650 reviewsPerfect stay in La Malbaie. The staff is charming and very helpful. The building is a bit older, but that contributes positively to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation is on the street, which guarantees good accessibility. We did not find the street too noisy. We found the location very good. Overall, many restaurants in the area are within easy reach and the surroundings invite you to take a walk along the shore. The breakfast was fantastic. It was freshly prepared every morning. For us it was better than any buffet - but you shouldn't expect a standard breakfast here.Guest review byTobiasGermany
- From £83.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 596 reviewsI chose this place for its location to the ferry and potential whale spotting. The room was a little smaller than expected, but met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to look out at the water from our room, sit outside in a chair and even walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.Guest review byCristinaCanada
- From £150.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 380 reviewsClean room, comfortable mattress, free parking, reasonable distance by car to the heart of the city. Amazing view of the river and the mountains. Very close to the sand beach. Restaurant on site offers meals at a separate rate. Our stay was too short to take advantage of the amenities on site but there is a sauna, a pool, etc.Guest review byEl SebaieCanada

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. My only regret is that I only stayed for one night and didn’t book a room with a view of the river — something I’ll definitely do next time!Guest review byVioletaCanada - 10.0

There are nice stores including art stores. It has a music festival in summer. It is not far from skiing both nordic and xcountry. It is a short drive to a national park, Des Hautes Gorges de la Riviere Malbaie. The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom.
The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom. It was too close to ferry. Restaurant was awful. Someone just walked into our cottage in the middle of the afternoon; on another day, someone was peering in our window. If you miss the ferry, you have to wait 4 hrs in a town with nothing to do, hence going to "explore" cottages., while people are staying there. If you want to do anything "exciting", you have to go back to Quebec City or go to Tadoussac. NOTHING TO DO IN ST-SIMEONGuest review byLouiseCanada - 10.0

The island has a small population, few cars, and is perfect for cyclists. A scenic road hugs the coastline all the way around, offering plenty of spots to stop and enjoy stunning views. Getting around is simple, even on foot. I highly recommend La Boulangerie Bouchard for fresh baked goods, breakfast, snacks, or lunch. They have outdoor tables with stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and the mountains of Les Éboulements.Guest review byLaszloCanada - 10.0

What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, it was on the sweet side (it would be nice with some protein options ie. hard boiled eggs, cheese, and non-canned fruit options),Guest review byAngelaDenmark - 10.0
The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada.
The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada. Very new (09/23) , absolute clean and with all comfort you need. (Sauna, Hamman Jacuzzi). Complete , well equipped kitchen. ( we loved to cook by ourself) Very private (in the woods), but with nice view from the terrasse (Lorence River) and only a close ride (15 minutes by car ) to next village to buy whatever you need for own cooking ... or to go for external cafe or dinner. We spent perfect 3 days enjoying every day and evening - relaxing after our daily tours - and would have spend longer if we would have time to do. This "Tiny house" is an absolute recommendation !!!Guest review byMartin (Dachau)Germany - 10.0

We drove 2 hours from Quebec City to La Malbaie so we could visit the beautiful gardens of Quatre Vents. We stayed at a lovely B&B called Auberge La Chateleine and enjoyed an amazing dinner at Chez Truchon Bistro. Sorry we had only one day/night for this visit. Next time we will spend more time in La Malbaie!Guest review byConnieUnited States - 8.0
Nice and quiet little village.
Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.Guest review byJan-LouisCanada - 10.0
Beautiful town with a gorgeous beach.
Beautiful town with a gorgeous beach. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy the town offerings. We ate at Le Quévillon and Restaurant sur la Mer and both were decent, although not excellent. We shopped at the local market, which was well-stocked with food and alcohol.Guest review bydaveCanada
