- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,902 reviewsThe location is brilliant. We chose to stay at Toronto Airport for 2 nights, rather than downtown. It is much less expensive and you can delay picking up a rental car and save on downtown parking costs which are very expensive. The Alt is located at the Link light rail station. You catch the Link to Terminal 1, then take the UP Union Pearson train to Union Station. So easy. We then collected our Hertz rental car from Terminal 1 the following day. The hotel is superb. Compact but brilliantly designed room and ensuite. Modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely view over airport but perfectly insulated. No noise. Efficient friendly staff. Simple but excellent bistro provides inexpensive and adequate light meals.Guest review byHughHong Kong

Toronto was a wonderful city to visit.
Toronto was a wonderful city to visit. We did a Hop-on Hop-off tour to see major landmarks in the city. We did a day trip to Niagara Falls and ate dinner at the top of the Sheraton with a wonderful view. We ate dinner at the top of the CN Tower. All exciting experiences.Guest review byHerbUnited States - 8.0

Loved - the size and configuration of room, closeness to airport and quality of buffet. Second stay - during the first we had a number of issues related to the hotel being newly opened, but they were graciously resolved by the manager. Very annoyed that they still haven't got their "process and systems" fixed so they know which guests have paid for breakfast. Once again you go to breakfast, only to have the concierge tell you your breakfast isn't included even though you have paid for it. Once again standing in line with my family, embarrased that I have to prove to a staff member I have indeed paid for breakfast. Sort this out, the staff are all aware of the issue, they could let guests know its a problem when they check and sort it out proactively so its not an issue in the morning. Or just presume that everyone has paid for breakfast and don't hassle guests to prove they have paid for it. Annoying...but worse for guests who aren't English speakers trying to negotiate for what they have paid for.Guest review byLisaCanada - 10.0

Interesting destinations, diverse population, courteous drivers, and gorgeous architecture. We enjoyed the hop-on-Hop-off bus to provide an overview. The downtown is very walkable. The Acquarium is a must see. We also booked a day trip to Niagra Falls which was a lot of fun.Guest review byJudy - 6.0

I can't really give great review of the town or city due to short stayed. It's a bit far and cost a bit from the CN tower and other attractions as we used Uber rides as means of transportations to and from the hotel.Guest review byMaricel - 6.0

This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.Guest review byZHENGCanada - 8.0

Everyone is really nice. Interesring things to see. Vibrant city. But my main concern is the amount of homeless people and people on drugs. It did not feel safe walkimg around despite being with my partner.Guest review byKaterinaFrance - 10.0

Mississauga is in a great location for a quick shuttle service to YYZ. Because there was construction immediately outside on the highway that the hotel faces onto makes it a bit difficult to find out how to find the entrance, but that will be resolved once the road maintenance is completed.Guest review byNoack
