Very busy tourist destination.
Very busy tourist destination. Went to Cavendish Boardwalk, Avonlea Boardwalk, as well as Mariner's Cove Boardwalk, where the boys did mining for gems also ordered pizza from Grego, Sandspit, Marco Polo Land and of course ice cream. My husband and I had lunch at this new Receiver Coffee Co. and it was delicious.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

I really enjoyed kitchen we could make breakfast and have coffee out on the deck overlooking the pond very relaxing. We also appreciated the laundry. We didn’t use pool but it looked inviting! Overall we enjoyed our cottage and it felt like home after our sightseeing daysGuest review byELLEN - 10.0
This is one of the nicer areas of the island.
This is one of the nicer areas of the island. The beach is spectacular and you can walk for miles along the beach! It is also fairly calm and safe for swimming as it is fairly shallow for quite a distance out. Close by, by car, there is a cute ice cream, coffee cafe, picnic area which was very handy, as well as a grocery store and right beside it, a fabulous bakery which also sells coffees and has tables outside! All in all, a wonderful visit.Guest review byVittorioCanada - 10.0
This location is GREAT.
This location is GREAT. We spent a week exploring every nook and cranny of PEI and this location is central and close to best beaches. They are rated that for a reason. PEI never gets too crowded even in high season so do yourself a favor and stay in this rolling farmland reminiscent of the south of France with great dining options nearby as well.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 10.0

we were literally 5 minutes from town. has a view of the ocean and farmland.racehorses for neighbors! restaurants, grocery store gas all within 5 minutes drive. plus, deep sea fishing just down the road from all that! we toured almost the whole island in 5 days! everywhere you go is a view of something cool. we saw the northern lights and the perseids from our backyard! but the beaches are so dark at night, you get a better view. and they are easy to get to.Felix was a great host and I hope I get back there again!!!!!!Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0

Great central location for several beaches and excellent golf courses. We played golf on 2 days and spent one day visiting the beaches from Stanhope to Cavendish. The Turkey Tavern has great turkey dinners., sandwiches, etc. There are several fun parks for young children and plenty of eateries in the area. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Dahlia in North Rustico.Guest review bySharonCanada - 10.0
Stanhope was an excellent place to stay for our first time...
Stanhope was an excellent place to stay for our first time on the island. We went mid June so avoided the summer busy season. The cottage was an excellent location to PEI national park and beaches with lots of trails for biking and walking. The property has a large selection of bike rentals and decent daily rates. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds, kitchen/bbq for cooking and a hot shower. Honestly couldn't ask for anything more.Guest review byJuliaCanada - 10.0

Cavendish was a great place to visit with many shops for all your needs. The people were friendly and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The landscape is very beautiful with lots of tourist sites to explore. I will be visiting this lovely place again in the future !!Guest review byHutchingsCanada - 8.0
The beach is gorgeous!
The beach is gorgeous! it is actually 22 kms long, and if you drive down the coast and you stop at all the stops the beach changes shape and size. The water is cleaner is some areas and the sand is softer. There are places you can walk out in shallow water for 500 meters. I have been all over Asia and Australia, and I loved the beach here because the weather is more comfortable, and the sand and the water are just as nice to sunbath and swim in! The water is unexpectedly warm! It is really beautiful!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
