- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 3,463 reviewsThe hotel room felt dated, but it had the basics. The telephone was a trial and error service, i had to go down to reception at times to check on laundry because the phone was not working. I felt the location was perfect for me and my family as it was located around all the things we needed. The beds were good. Service with a smile was a staple with everyone in the staff. I will definitely recommend Hotel Halifax w to anyone who visits Halifax and i too will stay here next timeGuest review byDineshUnited Arab Emirates

I arrived from the UK around midday at airport.
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport. Called for courtesy bus which arrived quickly. Arrived at hotel around 1pm expecting to have to wait for room. I was able to get into my room right away , which was great as I had been travelling for approximately 16 hours and was tired. Had a quick meal in restaurant which was very good. My family arrived a few hours later and we had a nice meal in the hotel. My grandchildren loved the pool. Will definitely visit again.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
The overall feeling was that the room was quite dated.
The overall feeling was that the room was quite dated. It was a large room and had a jacuzzi tub next to the bed which we didn't use. It would be better if they removed it from the sleeping area and made the bathroom larger to accommodate a larger shower and double sink. The bathroom fixtures were quite old. We were only there briefly (one night) as we were flying out the next day. The proximity to the airport was very good as it only took 7 minutes to drive there. It was also very close to where we are friends live who invited us for dinner. For $300 a night, they should have provided bottles of water in the room and real glasses instead of plastic.Guest review byRyszardaCanada - 10.0

Halifax is a great city to explore, lots of historical areas, restaurants and shops. An amazing boardwalk to explore. Restaurants to try: Five Fishermen, Millstone, Wooden Monkey, and Evan's Seafood. Ferry to and from Dartmouth to Halifax, very handy. Great villages to visit: Peggy's Cove, Hubbard (eat at Tuna Blue), Chester, Lundenberg has amazing shops, distilleruea to check out and restaurants) and Oak Island Tour (yes the one with the TV show that searches for treasure. 13th season being filmed).Guest review byNadiaCanada - 10.0

Three days in Halifax is plenty. I recommend going out of Halifax to the North and explore the Cabot trail. Keep in mind that it is remote in some places and make sure you have dinner before 6:00 pm or you can find yourselves without it,Guest review byJuanUnited States - 10.0

We lived in Enfield for 10 years while deployed with military. Nice little town.Has everything you'd need, from shops, gas, restaurants, scenery. It has since expanded. 4km to Elmsdale which house most of restaurants/shopping. All airports are located in Enfield at the airport locale.Guest review byStephanieCanada
