- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,022 reviewsAmazing stay. Ambience, staff, flower arrangements, food, building, all exceptional. A special mention must be given to the cleaning staff, even my husband went around exclaiming how the brass work shone and was completely free of finger marks. I took a photo of the mirrored coffee table in which the ceiling is reflected perfectly. Well done housekeeping!Guest review byStephenIreland

Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake.
Petty touristy town on the shores of a large lake. Available public parking is horrible as there are too many cars for the available parking. The Bell museum is definitely a must see and worth a couple of hours visit. The boat cruise on the Ameba is a very peaceful afternoon activity. The town can be a base for day trips elsewhere if you are lucky enough to have nice lodging. Terrific breakfast and dinner at the Freight Shed Terrace. Many shops and restaurants are close by and walkable.Guest review byNormanUnited States - 10.0
Truro is a charming town.
Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed. We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much. It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance. Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!Guest review byMillyCanada - 8.0

When I left (For the second year running) there are no facilities to obtain refreshments if you have a long wait. (I arrived because of check out time 11:30 and the flight did not leave until 16:45) That is a long wait without the ablitly to have some refreshments.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Digby is an ideal location on the Bay of Fundy.
Digby is an ideal location on the Bay of Fundy. Good restaurants and the Sea Biscuit Cafe is a must for excellent coffee and sandwiches. A visit to Annapolis 30km away is a must. Enjoyed scrumptuous lobster and scallops at Parker’s Cove at Crows Nest diner, a must to visit. Parker’s Cove is about a 15 minute drive from Annapolis.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport.
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport. Called for courtesy bus which arrived quickly. Arrived at hotel around 1pm expecting to have to wait for room. I was able to get into my room right away , which was great as I had been travelling for approximately 16 hours and was tired. Had a quick meal in restaurant which was very good. My family arrived a few hours later and we had a nice meal in the hotel. My grandchildren loved the pool. Will definitely visit again.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good. Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.Guest review bylewis - 10.0

Charming university town with plenty of history and beautiful old homes and churches and buildings. Lots of different restaurants and coffee shops with outdoor dining options, little unique shops as well as bigger commercial stores are handy. Country roads all around for drives to explore the farmlands and the coast. Farmers Markets and Expedition Fair events to visit, late August is bustling with tourists and students settling in for fall. Easy to walk to most places locally and is also centrally located in Nova Scotia, close to all 3 other Atlantic provinces.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

I came for the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and stayed 3 nights. Food at restaurants was good. More restaurants should be open for early breakfast, Loved the shuttle service for the Festival. Grand Banker's lobster roll was delicious. Fish and chips at the Dockside were great.Guest review byGunn
