We only spent one day in Sidney, BC.
We only spent one day in Sidney, BC. Brunch at Five & Dime, great food, very friendly servers, clean place. Visited John Dean Provincial Park, the trails were well marked and full of all kinds of mushrooms, very fun and interesting. Had coffee at The Serious Cafe, good coffee. Walked to Lochside Waterfront Park, didn't get to see much stores since most of them were closed at 5pm. Visited DGD Gift store, small store with a good collection of gifts. The part of Sidney we saw is clean, peaceful and safe.Guest review byBettyCanada - 8.0
Beautiful place next to water views.
Beautiful place next to water views. Beware there is no kitchen, just a breakfast bar. Toaster, microwave, and small refrigerator. No freezer for ice. There is no dining table. If you like to eat out. This is your place! Living space is very well played out.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We stayed one night after landing on the island from Vancouver ferry. It was easy to find and the rooms clean and spacious. There was a pool and hot tub available alongside the spa. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our meal at the restaurant full of local produce. It was a great stay and perfect if you wanted to take the ferry to Mill BayGuest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I like the quality of the service provided by the hosts: 1. Warm greetings and clear instructions on how to use the kitchen and gave us a good history of the house. 2. The floor layout, furniture, decor, bookshelf with books, games, etc. 3. Breakfast for both hot and fruits. 4. Private parking 5. Very nice neighborhoodGuest review byJohnny To - 8.0

Victoria and the surrounding area are beautiful this time of the years. Everything is either greening up or in blossom. Every restaurant we tried were very good in all respects although rather expensive.Guest review byDonCanada - 10.0

Sidney is just a delightful town with a lovely shoreline and easy walking areas. The Beacon Inn is a perfect accommodation for staying in Sidney. It’s warm, friendly and so comfortable as a destination. Great restaurants and breweries are about the town and we enjoyed them tremendously. We will certainly visit again but stay longer to relax and enjoy more of its’ amenities and natural surroundings.Guest review byKarenUnited States - 10.0
The property is lovely.
The property is lovely. The rental is in the lower portion of a large, very nice home, and has a spectacular view of the ocean. We were even able to walk down stairs from the property to the beach below - where we collected sea glass and saw an eagle perched in the tree right above our heads. The rental is very comfortable and was perfectly suited for my husband and I and my mother. Loved the two separate Jack and Jill bathrooms that make both bedrooms an en-suite. It is true that the kitchenette does not have a sink or stove, but there is an outdoor cooking area with cooking supplies, and the host collects any dirty dishes. The kitchenette also has a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and elected tea kettle - plus coffee and teas and various other items free of charge. Regarding the host, Rani, she could not have been more gracious and helpful, and was a pleasure to talk with. My husband and I look forward to staying at this property again in the future.Guest review byLoraUnited States - 10.0

A well appointed location, immediately beside the Mill Bay ferry to Vancouver Island, avoiding the unpredictable Malahat highway, Butchart Gardens and Butterfly World and several other fun options. Small, intimate facility with all the necessary ammenities.Guest review byDougCanada - 10.0

I love walking around Sydney, boutiques, beaches and restaurants. The closeness to the Airport and Ferry terminal is a bonus. Sunday night things close early or are not open just so you know. We ate at the Bistro Restaurant and it was excellent.Guest review byBeancounter1951Canada - 10.0

We chose this spot for the rural setting that was a perfect combination of a quick drive to the airport for an early am flight and quiet, isolated beauty. Further South, lies Saanichton and Brentwood Bay, each with their own convenience and character. Both the Butterfly Farm and Butchart Gardens lie just beyond Brentwood Bay, where you can get the ferry to Mill Bay, rent kayaks, or enjoy an excellent cup of coffee (and more) after a hike in Dean Park nearby. Heaven!Guest review byAnnCanada
