- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 44 reviewsWe were in a room. There are three types of accommodation - heated tents , cabins and rooms. we had a great view of the inlet and the dock and a very enjoyable place to sit in the grounds overlooking all the activities. The resort was active but pleasantly quiet . There is a pub which operates from 12.00 - 8.00 p.m. with a well balanced food menue, prices for meals are reasonable ranginf from $C12-$C24 per item , servings were substantial. The dock is the the departure point for trips , there are numerous types of trips on offer. This place is an absolute gem in my opinion.Guest review byDavidCanada
- From £134.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 357 reviewsThe view from the room and the restaurant are amazing: right over the ocean. I think this was the hotel where we actually spend more time in the hotel than elsewhere on our trip, since it great location on the ocean, the great food in the restaurant and the very friendly and helpful staff. They even helped getting enough loonies for the washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was included which we didn't expect so that was a nice surprise too.Guest review byJohanNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 131 reviewsA beautiful location and luxurious apartment. Small but attractive infinity pool and adjoining hot tub. Nice onsite restaurant (closed Sun & Mon) and good supermarkets nearby. We played golf on nearby Pender Harbour 9 hole course which was hilly, wooded, friendly and fun. The spa looked good but quite pricey.Guest review byTimUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 415 reviewsIt honestly feels like you’re visiting your favourite aunt’s place but with more privacy. Numerous options for a generous breakfast with the option to have it to-go was a nice surprise. Morning coffee on our covered patio with an ocean view is what will keep us coming back.Guest review byMariaCanada

Good for shopping, the artisans market on a Saturday well worth a visit. Good base to explore the coast. First nation museum small but interesting. Burnett Falls an easy hike. Porpoise Bay Good for beach walk. Lovely promenade to stroll along in Sechelt. Also the botanical gardens worth visiting.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far. We made our own food in our room but there is a few fast food places close, Tim Hortons and A&W. It’s worth driving up to Sechelt too. They had an excellent gelato in Gibson which had a bakery too, love it there.Guest review byGraceCanada - 10.0

As we were on a motorcycle trip with a specific agenda it didn't allow for extra time to be spent exploring Powell River but definitely a return visit is in the future plans. It's a lovely town and our accommodation was fabulous!!Guest review byGoddess RocksUnited States - 10.0

It rained after we arrived, so we didn't explore too much. The following day we went of a hike near Madeira Park called Francis Point. It was absolutely beautiful and picturesque. It is a quiet place and perfect for a get away with a partner or family.Guest review byWayneCanada - 10.0

Egmont itself is just a small settlement, with a pub and convenience store and dock. It is the take off point for the forest rail to the Skookumchuck tidal passage , a 4 kms hike on the actual trail throughthe forest , the trek is well rewarded with a stunning view of the narrows, but it is twisty and slightly rocky and care should be taken to avoid twisted ankles. There are numeous docking and excursion facilities, the road to Egmont , although twisty is well marked and paved, after you take the turn from Highway 101Guest review byDavid JohnCanada - 2.0
Mediocre, misleading, NOT A RESORT.
Mediocre, misleading, NOT A RESORT. Had to travel back to another town for food, the beaches, lakes, activities, etc. There was nothing to do on site. Nothing available on site. It appears to be a trailer park and marina that decided to make some extra cash by having motel rooms, but they call themselves a resort and post beautifully tailored pictures on their website. Incredibly misleading, scam-like behavior. The staff was lazy and vague.Guest review byAlexAustralia - 10.0

Scenic area to visit with lots of great hiking and lovely towns. Our hosts had helpful information on what to do and see in the area. The Pender Harbour Blues festival at the beginning of June is fun. Could have spent more time exploring. My only comment is that some of the hiking trails could use better markings.Guest review byBettyCanada - 10.0

Gibsons is a Beautiful, quaint little town, very good at hosting guests. With many lucky finds. A particularly lucky find was Grammas restaurant off the boardwalk. We missed the street entrance. As it was too small and sadly uninviting. The city could help this treasurer of a business by “resolving the issue of the adjacent space,” our server explained. Another lucky find was “reasons to live” book and record store. Follow the signs for a bit of a scavenger hunt for your lucky find in this well stocked store. Park for free and it’s an easy one street walk (more or less).Guest review byNicoleCanada - 8.0

Powell River is a "jumping off point" for outdoor enthusiasts and has loads of natural beauty. The town itself is nothing special, but the local people have a welcoming, casual and unpretentious vibe that is really charming. The Old Courthouse Inn and its Edie Rae Cafe are a slice of the Victorian past. Magpie's has delicious breakfasts with a Ukrainian flare.Guest review bySparks
