There are three types of accommodation - heated tents , cabins and rooms. we had a great view of the inlet and the dock and a very enjoyable place to sit in the grounds overlooking all the activities. The resort was active but pleasantly quiet . There is a pub which operates from 12.00 - 8.00 p.m. with a well balanced food menue, prices for meals are reasonable ranginf from $C12-$C24 per item , servings were substantial. Great city.
Great city. Plenty to see and do, with easy access to the mountains. Whale watching, float plane tours, high level revolving restaurant, Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge and much more. Eating out is very easy, whether in Gas Town, Davie Street, English Bay, Granville Island, or other places. We stayed in the Atrium hotel, on East Hastings and public transport was plentiful and cheap. There is an unfortunate visual problem with homeless and addicted people on West Hastings, but this did not affect us directly.Guest review byNickUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything about Whistler is amazing.

Absolutely beautiful little town. The residents are so friendly and I was very impressed how clean all the fast food places and gas stations were. I love the little shops in towns centre. Motels are decent prices (usually) I would recommend booking in advance. The scenery is so beautiful. I take so many pictures when I go. It is very small but that’s definitely part of the charm. Love coming to Hope for a little break from living in the city. I would recommend eating at Rollys for breakfast, it serves delicious food. There is also a really good place that makes fudge in the towns centre. Hope is nice for walking you can walk to most areas in a short time. Or driving is super easy if you don’t like walking. On the whole most drivers courteous, my stay near 200 th, provided good driving to my destination at 7:00 am and at 330 pm, with no traffic bottle necks. North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. It was Canada day, we were looking for a restaurant, hard to find. As I turned off the pavement toward a place where some cars were parked, my car bottomed out, bam! I didn't see that drop coming. The city should never have such a drop off of pavement in town! I was too upset to stop and take a picture of it. Burnaby is about a 20 minute metro ride from Vancouver centre. It's easy to get the metro from here. Good shops and places to eat. We liked Central Park - it has a running track around the outisde of the park and lots of paths to walk. A great green space in the city. We ate at a place called Earls and it was excellent. Beautiful location, the views are amazing. Lots of activities for every ages. Lots of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and could hae stayed 3-4 days without getting bored. We rented a canoe and had a blast. We dine at the local German restaurant Black Forst it was delicious. The playground is amazing my kid had so much fun.
