I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Alpina. The owner Richard was very easygoing, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was perfect, good variety, they make eggs however way you want them. The room is a good size with a comfy bed. And for my room 201 the bathroom was renovated and very nicely done. I even got a partial view of the lake from my room. The attention to detail throughout the hotel made it so funky yet so cozy. I would definitely stay there again. There’s also a beautiful pathway from the hotel that takes you directly parallel to the lake and a little waterfall

It is a very warm and clean house. The location is very good, 400m near Interlake West. There is a big supermarket named Miago near Interlake West station, in which you can buy anything you want. And also the receptionist is very friendly and helpful, who makes me at home. Overall, it is a very nice experience to live here. My husband and I have lived wonderful two days here!

All the staff were very professional and welcoming, especially the head concierge he really gave us great advice.     Interlaken truly feels like a dream destination, the kind of place where every corner looks like it belongs on a postcard. My favorite spots were the panoramic views from Harder Kulm (tip: go up just before sunset for the most magical light) and the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz, which are stunning for both photos and a peaceful walk along the shore. When it comes to food, Interlaken has plenty of cozy restaurants and cafés. I really enjoyed trying a classic Swiss fondue, perfect after a day of exploring. For a budget-friendly option, grab fresh pastries from local bakeries in the morning; they are delicious and save you time before heading out on an adventure. Getting around is surprisingly easy. The Swiss Travel Pass or local day tickets are worth it if you plan to explore nearby towns or lakes, as public transport is punctual, scenic, and stress-free. Inside Interlaken, most places are within walking distance, so you can enjoy the views while you get around. As a solo traveler, I found Interlaken both safe and exciting. There are endless outdoor activities, but the absolute highlight was paragliding over Interlaken. Flying between the mountains with the lakes glistening below is pure magic and you will never forget it. (Tip: book a morning flight if you can; the air is calmer and the views are crystal clear.) Whether you love nature, adventure, or just soaking in the beauty of the Swiss Alps, Interlaken has something for everyone.

    We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between other places that we were visiting. The area has a lot of character with lovely old buildings and is on the shore of one of the many big lakes. It was very quiet during our brief stay, being in the period between the summer and winter seasons for tourists. We had just one evening meal which was a very tasty pizza.

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

    A great place to sleep if you wanted to visit Interlaken and all the other attractions in the Jungfrau Region :-) The transportation is pretty easy - you have a bus i12 minute-ride, a train 4-7 minutes, and a ferry to Interlaken. The place is not busy, therefore you can relax there more. There are some amazing hotels by the lake, such as Brienzesee Hotel - amazing!!! It is a great starting point to all other villages and cities.

    Beautiful little town.

    Beautiful little town. Lake brienz cruise is the perfect start to the trip. Can't visit the waterfalls around the lake or just walk along the promenade. We were lucky to be there on 1 August - swiss national day. Got to see fireworks at the lake. Beautiful sight at night!

    Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails. It’s beautiful the lake is stunning. We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

    Excellent stay! Carina and Christian we’re brilliant. Room was ready before check in. We arrived two hours early so just wanted to dump our bags and go but Christian checked if the room was ready and it was so he let us check in 2 hours earlier which was amazing. Both very friendly. We had drinks in our room in the evening and they always gave us ice and glass whenever we asked. Only fall back of this location is that the last bus to the hotel in Habkern from Interlaken west is at 7.05pm. If you miss that, the only way to the hotel is a cab which is a 19 min ride but costs 40th f. We got hit so beware. Other than that it is an amazing place to stay with amazing views and you also see the cows parade outside.

    Anne You attached my report from 2024, the difference with 2025 hotel change management, and policy, in this case : cut expenses and increase prices, also to hire employees with nor training, and low profile. with the high prices hotel can buy an air condition system more efficacy that a cheap fan.
