- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 839 reviewsWe were very glad to stay at the hotel for 7 days. The hotel is located in the center of Bad Ragaz. Everything is very close. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes at the hotel’s restaurant were very tasty so we visited the restaurant several times during our stay. Our room was very spacious and modern with a cozy design and a corner with toys for a child, which was a great bonus for our stay. There are several windows in the room with a beautiful view on the mountains. We would definitely like to visit the hotel again in the future.Guest review bySteffenDenmark

Bad Ragaz: A Renowned Spa Destination
Bad Ragaz: A Renowned Spa Destination Nestled in the Swiss Alps, Bad Ragaz is famous for its thermal springs and world-class wellness retreats. The town’s Tamina Therme offers beutifully designed thermal baths sourced from the nearby Tamina Gorge, a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. Beyond its spa culture, Bad Ragaz boasts stunning alpine scenery, a golf course , and a charming village atmosphere.Guest review byMary JoSwitzerland - 8.0

A pleasant town with some very agreeable corners such as Mitteldorf and the Princely Wine Estate. Excellent National Museum although the Art Museum is a disappointment as it contains virtually none of the wonderful paintings owned by the Prince, which surely could be shared between the Liechtenstein Museum in Vienna and the Kunstmuseum in Vaduz. It's easy to get around at the Liechtenstein Card is fantastic value, getting you in free to all sorts of places, including the winery. Remember though that few restaurants are open on a Sunday evening.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Its too late to come to Malbun for cross country skiing at the beginning of March. We were hopeful for some snow still but all was gone already and unlike in some Swiss resorts there is no snow farming in Malbun/Steg.Guest review byDorota BatorPoland - 8.0

A quaint village on the shores of Lake Walensee, under the impressive Churfirsten (mountain range). Can be busy and crowded on a warm summers day. Best time to visit would be early morning or early evening. If a keen hiker it's a wonderful mid-point stop or end point treat for a meal and a well deserved refreshment. Some lovely local products on sale. A small village but if you stop 'and smell the roses' you'll be rewarded with experiencing the energy that flows through the streets and vineyards.Guest review byRobynneSwitzerland - 10.0

Great base for exploring mountains, either within this resort or using neighbouring lifts. Tannenboden area also benefits from a lift down to the lake, which is great for a soak after a long day hiking! Tannenheim is more suited for extensive downhill mountain biking. Skiing the area would be great if you can handle black and red runs.Guest review byThomasUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The location in a valley at 500m, surrounded by peaks reaching 2,500m, was great. Unfortunately the Tamina hot springs up the gorge, and the gorge itself, were closed, but I did manage to catch the last day of the season at Heidiland, a charming place. The mineral springs spa is fabulous, where you can enjoy every type of pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and water massages, and, of course, it is immaculately clean and well organised. The tourist tax in Bad Ragaz is a hefty 4.60CHF per night. I found the locals rather cold and snobby. It's a nice place to go to if you like the spa. I did not eat out so cannot recommend restaurants. Sorry. The public transport, like everywhere in Switzerland, is excellent but buses only run once per hour.Guest review byGabriellaIsrael - 10.0

Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains. I choose it for hiking and found many trails. Unfortunately it was heavy snow at the end of September so I recommend summer for hiking around Malbun. Nature around is great!Guest review byViktor, LithuaniaLithuania - 10.0

Every lace I went, was incredibly wonderful, hiking is incredible, views are amazing. All towns' people are the greatest. Many activities to do, and a lot more that will surprise your visit. I could live there forever. A place that is incredibly friendly and helpful. You will truly enjoy your time there. Restaurants are basically the best zi have ever had. I truly had the time of my life and stay.Guest review byPaxton - 8.0

I stayed just one night here, a tag-on from a weekend with a friend. The actual skiing was really good, with some lovely runs. Not a massive ski area, but more than enough for 2-3 days. Only down side is that I didn't see many apres bars, but I wasn't really there long enough to explore. Really easy resort to get to from Zurich Airport - the trains are good and you can easily get the gondola up from Unterterzen train station, making this a good option for a weekend break.Guest review byElizabeth
