THE STAFF WERE SO AMAZING AT THIS HOTEL. All of the staff made my family and i feel so welcomed, comfortable and overall cared for. It felt like they were family or old friends that we had known for years and they did absolutely everything they could to help us all while being super warm and kind. The facilities were also great, the kids loved the pool and sports area, and the breakfast every morning was always super delicious! I would like to thank the staff Hugo, Sully, Carlito and Alberto for the exceptional service they provided us during our stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay at the Grand Cru Boutique again, we would choose this place over anywhere else!

Excellent place to have a comfortable and quiet time, well served by its owner Leonor and a friendly staff. Leonor sends to her guests great recommendations for dining and wineries to visit, to help plan the trip. Breakfast is outstanding, abundant and delicious. Eduardo and Gabriela were exceptional hosts; friendly, welcoming and eager to please but never intrusive. Their lovely B&B was an oasis of calm on the outskirts of the small but busy town of Santa Cruz. We loved their 4 little dogs and the large, lush garden with free range chickens roaming in their own area; the freshest eggs for breakfast! The house is traditional and rustic with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds (we had 2 doubles) were wonderfully comfortable with quality bedding and we slept very well. Our hosts recommended vineyards to visit, places to eat and a taxi driver to ferry us about and all of their recommendations turned out to be excellent choices. We could have stayed there forever and we were genuinely sorry when we had to leave. Thank you Eduardo and Gabriela for your wonderful hospitality.

    We visited several wineries during our visit.

    We visited several wineries during our visit. We particularly liked Vina Maquis, Estampa, Vina Viu Manet, and Laura Hartwig. We also enjoyed the Museo del Vino and the Automobile Museum at Vina Santa Cruz. We ate at several good places - lunch at the cafe at Estampa, Peruvian food at La Casita de Barreales, and dinner twice at Parrilla Candil steakhouse.

    Tour of the Torreon de Paredes vineyard in Rengo, about 20...

    Tour of the Torreon de Paredes vineyard in Rengo, about 20 minutes north of the hotel. Next time will visit other nearby vineyards including Casa Silva in Los Lingues. Best of all was stay at Hotel Oniveros and their gourmet restauarant. Unepected prize in a relaxed susral stetting!

    The city at first was quite disappointing but once we had checked in in our great hostal the owners advised us to take a wine tour and to go for lunch in the beautiful restaurant.. there is also the beautiful village of lolol nearby with 3 museums ( hand craft ,vine and auto mobiles ) and à natural park with indigenous palm trees we didn’t even get around to visit it img . The nature around sc ( when you head ti the hills ) is very nice, feels like haute Provence ( a little)

    Santa Cruz is a really good base for exploring thr wine area. An interesting small town to walk around. Good restaurants and bars. There is a very good museum in town with lots of artifacts from all around Chile. Very well displayed and lots of information, we used google translate and visited twice during our stay as there was so much to see. Easy to travel to the many vineyards, we used uber to go to the restaurant at the Montes vineyard Fuegos de Alpata , the meal was fabulous. La Casita de Barrealas has an excellent menu and well worth visiting in walking distance of the town centre.
