United StatesWe stayed at Oasi apartments as part of our honeymoon and it was a dream. The villa we stayed in was of the highest standard, high spec finishes and very spacious. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole 3 week trip, and it was made extra special by being served on our own private terrace each morning. The apartments are situated in the perfect location for exploring the wonderful town of Cahuita and the national park where you can see an amazing array of Costa to an wildlife - we saw sloths, monkeys, snakes, and more. Would highly recommend staying here.

There is a lovely atmosphere here and the hosts were very welcoming. I had injured my foot when I arrived. Kim gave me some cream for it and helped me to get an xray for it. The proximity to the national park is awesome. We went most days and then spent the late afternoons relaxing in the pool. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. There are various comfortable seating options in the common area indoors and outdoors. The bedrooms are spacious and there is shelving and hanging space for clothes. The AC worked perfectly and hot shower was a luxury we haven't had for many weeks. Kim is very knowledgeable about activities in the area as well as where is best to spot wildlife in cahuita and in the national park. Sadly we were only there for one night, passing through, but it was really lovely. Big room, comfy beds with mosquito nets, good shower. You really feel like you're in the jungle. I saw two toucans in the morning, which was a definite bucket list animal for me. Really near the playa negra which is a beautiful beach. Cahuita is a hidden gem.
Cahuita is a hidden gem. It’s a small, quiet peaceful place to stay that is near to Puerto Viejo, but without the noise. The beaches and wildlife were wonderful, and we loved visiting Cahuita National Park. There is a bus stop in Cahuita which goes to Puerta Viejo. We loved eating at many of the local restaurants.
