It was amazing! Aaron and Ellen created a beautiful and peaceful place in the nature and at the same there is nothing you will miss. They helped with planing trips, organized great guides and explained the island and the culture while serving cocktails! We will come back!

Everything. Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

Great location and view, very beautiful hotel, pool area and rooms and above all the most friendly staff and manager/owner you can find. Diner and lunch were also very good, they only offer what the fishermen have catched that day which means everything fresh!!!

It is an oasis at the foot of the volcano. So much work and soul has been put into building and running the place that it is impossible not to fall in love with it. It is simple accommodation which has everything you need. The food is great and always available.The staff are incredible - Mustafa made our lives so easy by organising our transfers, guide, hikes, and giving us advice and help - he even gave us his card when we left in case we had any problems when travelling around the other islands. Casa Marisa is a cornerstone of the community and you feel like you are part of it while you are there.

The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sao Filipe. the location is great, next to the beach and in the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast very tasty. But most of all the friendly staff will help you out with anything. we rented a car at the reception, they picked us up at the airport for free and helped us out with our next stay in CV. Will definitely cone back here if I have the opportunity!

The staff were excellent, especially the young woman who tried to teach us Kriole. We could see the sea from our room and small balcony and enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here.
