By last year, the hotel had fallen into disrepair, but even with all this - super location, the biggest park and landscaping, super atmosphere with hammocks, a garden of fragrant herbs, etc.! but this year we were worried, because the hotel was sold out, but fortunately it was renovated and the prices remained the same... and, oh my God..., when we went out to the balcony, we had a view of the sea with our favorite palm trees, but on the first floor of the hotel they made an exit from the rooms to the private pool from each room.. delight, even at the sight of this.. almost all the restaurants are renovated, and a bonus for relaxing with a large family - a buffet for lunch and dinner .. there is nothing like it in Cyprus.. the staff at the reception desk are magical, it was a feeling native home! thank youGuest review byArtursLatvia

Very atmospheric, very calm and very quiet! There are pomegranate everywhere! Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, pomegranate beer from a local brewery,... Very sincere and friendly people. The owner of a local tavern pleased us with his performance with a game of bouzouki. Pissouri has a charm that’s hard to explain until you’ve been I have now visited five times and have already booked to return in September. The village feels wonderfully authentic — cobbled streets, traditional bars and locals who still greet you with genuine warmth. There’s a real sense of community and Cypriot culture, without the tourist overload you get elsewhere. Evenings in the village square are relaxed but lively — great food, the occasional live music night, and just a lovely atmosphere all around. Pissouri Bay, just a short drive down, complements the village perfectly. The beach is peaceful and clean, with clear water and stunning cliffs that catch the evening light beautifully. It’s quiet enough to feel like a retreat but has just enough around (like a few tavernas and bars) to make it comfortable. You can unwind, swim, paddleboard, or simply sit with a coffee / glass of wine and watch the waves. What I love most is how balanced it is — you can enjoy a proper local experience in the village and then head to the bay for that laid-back coastal vibe. So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. We love Omodos as a stay over place ie one night. The village is beautiful with a lot of history. In my opinion it’s one of the nicest villages in Cyprus. Full of history too with a small free museum that is extremely interesting. The village is small so you can walk around it in a very short time and it’s so beautiful you really should walk around. For night life, most restaurants and the bakers close around 6.30pm ish. There are a couple of places that open til midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do.
Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do. Limassol was a great base to travel to others places and attraction eg Pafos, Kourion, The many Monasteries and Churches around Troodos Mountains, The Geopark What I found difficult though was the lack of car park facilities.
