FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From £86.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 124 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

We could park in the parking hotel (10 euros), but we parked on a street beside the hotel fence, which was free. We preferred the beach instead of the pool. Malaga is very good place for families and groups of friends to visit. Just be sure to check the weather, as it can be very hot and you might not feel like going out during the day.The cathedral is stunning, and the marina is lovely to walk around. the food is delicious and the city is not too big which makes it easy to explore. They had factory outlet if you want to go for shopping and nice high street shops. above all i love their sweets.Guest review byrositaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The history of this place is fantastic.
The history of this place is fantastic. There is almost too much to do, so one feels like there is never enough time! But I'd go back in a heartbeat. The surrounding area is jampacked with history in every direction, with amazing ancient stories to wonderful architecture. Walking around is a breeze, and getting a lay of the land is super easy. Watching some Flamenco is a must! Enjoying the nightlife is never going to disappoint. This is an amazing city with a lot going for it! Great little Spanish adventure! Thanks, Seville :-)Guest review byByronSouth Africa - 10.0
Beautiful town! Never felt unsafe.
Beautiful town! Never felt unsafe. The Alhambra was an amazing place BUT, please spend the money to have a tour. There are no explanations for what you are seeing so to get the most of the palaces, take a tour. Also the caves in sacromonte - where the gypsys lived is an eye opener. Only €5 admission with 11 caves (homes) to explore. It’s a bit of a hike but also provide some of the best views of the Alhambra and summer palace.Guest review bybrettAustralia - 10.0

The area around Bajondillo Beach (300-400m) is not suitable for families with children. These are beaches exclusively for the gay community. You are not even allowed to go to one beach with children. The gay community is very strong here, and associated with this is also public behavior right on the beach in the form of homosexual games, kissing and similar. I must say that even heterosexual couples do not behave so eccentrically in public! This location 300-400m is completely unsuitable for families with children, precisely because of the indiscriminate behavior of the gay community (5 gay guys on a large sunbed and ......)Guest review byAnonymousCzech Republic - 8.0
Cordoba was well worth the visit.
Cordoba was well worth the visit. The city is beautiful, the river is gorgeous (espeically at night time) and the food scene didn't disappoiint. Highly recommend staying on the other side of the river as we did if you're driving so you don't need to navigate the narrow streets but get the benefit of the beautiful old city.Guest review byMelissaAustralia - 10.0

We always love Cadiz as my husband was born there so we try and travel to Cadiz every summer from Australia. We love the beach, fish market is amazing and all the bars & restaurants and the churros & chocolate for breakfast we have tried many places and I think Cadiz has the best churros. Even better than in Madrid.Guest review byDollyAustralia - 6.0

I was incredibly lucky to choose this town for my accommodation! I knew nothing about it, I just chose the cheapest hostel that was also beautiful and had the best reviews, and was close to the beach. And it was a hit! It's a small town, but there are lots of great supermarkets and restaurants. There's a chic flea market nearby on Sundays. The beaches are absolutely incredible, and there's the Balcony of Europe. Overall, it's a great balance of tourist life.Guest review byOlenaUnited Kingdom
