This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in and very well managed. Modern room is beautifully appointed, super clean, great shower and comfy bed. All staff were friendly. Location is perfect and right in the middle of the historic old town. Fantastic buffet breakfast on the roof terrace. Could not fault a single thing on our 3 night stay. Thank you.

NO ONE ELSE BUT WITH Casa Alhaja by Shiadu in Sevilla Our recent stay at Casa Alhaja by Shiadu in Sevilla was an absolute dream. Tucked just 2 minutes away from the bustling center of the city, its location served as the perfect gateway for my wife and me to explore Sevilla's enchanting streets and landmarks. This charming hotel, with its blend of comfort and warm hospitality, made our visit truly unforgettable. But let me talk about the breakfast—oh, it was a 5-star experience every morning! The variety, the flavors, everything was impeccably presented and absolutely delicious. It wasn't just a meal; it was a highlight of our day, setting us up for our adventures in Sevilla with satisfied smiles. The staff at the restaurant deserves a special shout-out. Their warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service didn't just impress us; it made us feel truly cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness made every meal feel like a special occasion. Arriving at the ungodly hour of 5 am, we didn't expect much more than perhaps a nod from a sleepy night attendant. Yet, we were greeted with open arms and bright smiles. This level of dedication and commitment to making guests feel welcome, no matter the hour, really sets Casa Alhaja by Shiadu apart in our hearts. Given our splendid experience, it's a given that Casa Alhaja by Shiadu will be our go-to place when we visit Portugal next. Their unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction assures us of another delightful and memorable stay. To anyone pondering where to stay in Sevilla, my wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Casa Alhaja by Shiadu. The location, the breakfast, the restaurant staff, and the early morning welcome are all shining examples of their dedication to their guests. We're already looking forward to our next visit, eager to relive the wonderful experience.

This is a newly opened hotel in the middle of Seville, very close to everything you would want to see and to all transport facilities. It's 5 minutes away from the airport bus stop, very easy to find, with a little park close by. When you enter the hotel you're greeted instantly and the check in process is very quick whilst you are offered drinks, which is a nice touch. We were more than an hour earlier to check in, but the room was ready and the front desk staff were very accommodating and let us go to the room. You are shown to the room by the staff at the desk, which is also very courteous. The room was exactly what the pictures show, beautiful, quiet and very tastefully decorated, on the minimalistic side, which I appreciated. Everything is new, clean and you can see that they put in a lot of effort into details. The bed was huge, mattress amazingly comfortable and clean, pillows made me go to sleep instantly, sleeping in that bed was the best sleep I had in years. Free mini bar with a few juices and water, coffee machine which I used and made quite good coffee. Did not use the huge tv at all, so I don't know what programs there are. The bathtub in the room was romantic and right on point for our special occasion. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, they made sure that my request for a bottle of wine in the room was accomplished and I must say it was a very good regional Cava. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely hand written note from the hotel as well. Breakfast was quite an experience, in a very elegant atmosphere, freshly cut fruit, juice, coffee, pastries and warm food. I had eggs Benedict which were almost perfect (lemon juice in the hollandaise sauce was a bit too much, but that is only my personal taste, I still ate all from the plate). The only thing I have to say, maybe the waiter needs to put a little smile on his face, because it looked like we bothered him.

FAQs about hotels in Andalucía

Pulsating with History and Tradition

Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.

Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.

Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.

Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.

Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic, as well was the staff working there. We want to give special thanks to Palermo, Susana, Germán, Lenaz and Isa Vazquez . They were very gentle and sympathetic, always with a big smile. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing. The access to the beach is very useful. In general was all very very good. All the staff was very nice and helpful...reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, spa. Thank you all and see you soon.

Great Stay Right on the Oceanfront We had a wonderful time at this hotel! It’s located right on the oceanfront with a beautiful beach just steps away. The hotel was clean, and the pool area was really cool and relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely top – perfect for beach lovers. We felt like we were the only non-Spanish-speaking guests, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Would definitely recommend!

Nice view from the balcony on the pool area. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Every evening they organise a new show, for example flamenco, which we could watch from the cute outside bar. Good price for value, very highly recommended!

Malaga is very good place for families and groups of friends to visit. Just be sure to check the weather, as it can be very hot and you might not feel like going out during the day.The cathedral is stunning, and the marina is lovely to walk around. the food is delicious and the city is not too big which makes it easy to explore. They had factory outlet if you want to go for shopping and nice high street shops. above all i love their sweets.

The history of this place is fantastic. There is almost too much to do, so one feels like there is never enough time! But I'd go back in a heartbeat. The surrounding area is jampacked with history in every direction, with amazing ancient stories to wonderful architecture. Walking around is a breeze, and getting a lay of the land is super easy. Watching some Flamenco is a must! Enjoying the nightlife is never going to disappoint. This is an amazing city with a lot going for it! Great little Spanish adventure! Thanks, Seville :-)

Beautiful town! Never felt unsafe. The Alhambra was an amazing place BUT, please spend the money to have a tour. There are no explanations for what you are seeing so to get the most of the palaces, take a tour. Also the caves in sacromonte - where the gypsys lived is an eye opener. Only €5 admission with 11 caves (homes) to explore. It’s a bit of a hike but also provide some of the best views of the Alhambra and summer palace.

The area around Bajondillo Beach (300-400m) is not suitable for families with children. These are beaches exclusively for the gay community. You are not even allowed to go to one beach with children. The gay community is very strong here, and associated with this is also public behavior right on the beach in the form of homosexual games, kissing and similar. I must say that even heterosexual couples do not behave so eccentrically in public! This location 300-400m is completely unsuitable for families with children, precisely because of the indiscriminate behavior of the gay community (5 gay guys on a large sunbed and ......)

Cordoba was well worth the visit. The city is beautiful, the river is gorgeous (espeically at night time) and the food scene didn't disappoiint. I was incredibly lucky to choose this town for my accommodation! I knew nothing about it, I just chose the cheapest hostel that was also beautiful and had the best reviews, and was close to the beach. And it was a hit! It's a small town, but there are lots of great supermarkets and restaurants. There's a chic flea market nearby on Sundays. The beaches are absolutely incredible, and there's the Balcony of Europe. Overall, it's a great balance of tourist life.
