We always stop overnight in Jaca whilst driving from Spain to the UK or visa versa as it is just off the motorway and has all the amenities you would need and is a lively, friendly place and the hotels are of a very high standard at a very good price.Guest review byTechno OrangeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A pretty little town in the Pyrenees.
A pretty little town in the Pyrenees. Good local amenities, eg supermarket that stayed open late, little shops, bars, and restaurants although we mainly did our own cooking in our appartment. Immediate walking from Canfranc Estacion would be difficult as it's in a steep sided valley, but a short drive to Astun takes you to the base of chairlifts which whisk you up into the glorious mountains and access to hiking paths at the top- really lovely. Visitors might enjoy the sheep and mini horses with bells around their necks- quite a surreal sound!Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great for families with children or beginners in general.
Great for families with children or beginners in general. Lots of offer for beginners and also good for advanced skiers, but beginners have a big separate area that is very safe for first times. Also, excellent teachers at the Escuela de Esquí Candanchu. They are very good with children. If you are looking for lively apres-ski, better to stay in Jaca. However, Candanchu is the perfect place to avoid hassle in the morning, right by the slopes, good facilities and fun. You can pop down to Jaca in the evenings if looking for other activities (ice skating, visiting the Citadelle, the cathedral, good restaurants, etc).Guest review byCristinaUnited Kingdom - 2.0
It was clean and spacious but it had no towels.
It was clean and spacious but it had no towels. You had to make up and change your own bed. It was student accommodation but not at student prices. It was also noisy and not really suitable for tourists. I would not recommend it.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

This would be a great place to stay for a holiday with the family or as a couple, in the summer when all the facilities eg pool, restaurant and bar are available. The accommodations is excellent and gives some flexibility with meals, eg microwave, fridge, freezer. It is a short car journey into Jaca and the locality also gives the opportunity for walking.Guest review bycarolUnited Kingdom - 10.0
