We were looking for an overnight stay on our way to the south of Spain near Barcelona but not in the center. This is a perfect place, in the middle of the Cava wine yards, where you can relax after a long drive. We were positively surprised that there was a possibility to have diner because this site doesn't mention this. And the food, and the wine, were really great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel set in a stunning vineyard. We travelling during January so can only imagine how gorgeous it is when the vines are grown! The staff were exceptional, went above and beyond and so friendly. We had the vinotherapy treatment massage - amazing! We also ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was delicious. The house cava was incredible too. 10/10 absolutely recommend!

The lady that greeted us was extremely friendly warm and welcoming and made us feel like special guests. We arrived on the day that our Queen Elizabeth II passed away and the lady that greeted us gave us a very heart felt condolences for our Queen and country for which we were very touched by.

    Host is very friendly and good English speaker. We were really surprised to find her speaking very good English when the hotel/ apartment is located in such a beautiful country side in remote area. Apartment is beautifully and tastefully restored with high standard. We enjoyed staying at such a unique local old building which is such an experience while away from home. They offer the optional breakfast at the restaurant where parking is located with security camera. Restaurant was closed for the day we have checked in. So we could not taste the local cuisine for dinner. However what we have been offered for the breakfast, we were sure what they offer for dinner must be a great one as we have really enjoyed the Spanish style local breakfast. Bathroom amenity they offer is also great, which includes toothbrush, slippers, combs etc much more than what we usually find. Highly recommended.

    The location was amazing, overlooking the vineyard. It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very attentive and made the stay feel like a personal touch. The farm with the animals on the grounds was a nice addition. The spa was good with all required amenities. Room was spacious overlooking the pool and the vineyard which was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the hydromassage shower was incredible. Modern amenities with the feel of the old house was done well. Dinner was tasty in the old wine cellar which was very romantic. Breakfast was buffet style and nice.

    The house is perfect for a weekend get together. The open space downstairs allows for people to enjoy each others company while doing different activites (e.g. the people cooking can participate in the conversations happening in the sofa corner, because of the open design). The upstairs rooms are quiet and well insulated, and the shutters keep it nice and dark. The swimming pool was a treat and we were lucky enough that the weather allowed us to enjoy a swim or two, and there are loads of trails and hike opportunities in the surroundings. Very recommended.

Great dinner and excellent breakfast. small tip: At arrival it is not immediately clear where the hotel reception is. Font Rubi has 2 locations within 30 meters. The reception plus restaurant and then the second location with the hotel rooms.
