Somo's apartment is located in greenery and peaceful location but close to supermarkets and restaurants. The beach is reachable within a 10-minute walk. Rafa is fantastic guest and helpful person. Excellent choice!Guest review bypaolo - 6.0

Galizano is a village really.
Galizano is a village really. You could walk from the hotel to the beach if fit but there is free parking very near the beach. The beach is usually quiet in the morning. There is a small supermarket open for limited hours in the village. Excellent bakery in the village near the Hotel Vijanera. The beach is very nice - the parking really helps and it is quite accessible as there is a paved path down to the beach and it is not very steep. There are toilets at the beach and there was a beach bar which was really lovely but I guess only open in the busiest periods and certainly not when the weather isn't so good. We really recommend the burgers and cocktails at the beach bar. My photo could really confuse people! When the tide is right out this is what it looks like but it can also come right into the bay. There are lifeguards on the beach from 11am to 7pm in summer.Guest review byMelanieUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Good to get to the beach ...
Good to get to the beach ... I am Australian and grew up on the coast so I know a bit about these things. Somo beach has a usually gentle wave with sand bottom good for learning how to surf. Centro de surf with bar above is a good feature but are there showers/toilets ? not signposted if they exist.
