- From US$152.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 370 reviewsWe chose Saiaritz to have a rural base close to Bilbao, with parking. It was a good plan but Saiaritz made it fantastic. The building is architect built, beautifully finished. Amurrio lies in a lovely green plain, surrounded by hills; in the middle of Spain’s heatwave we stayed cool. We could take the (air conditioned) train from Amurrio to Bilbao for a few euros, with no parking hassles. But by far the highlight of our stay at Saiaritz was the hilarious and warm family who run it, Eritzu (sorry I don’t know how to spell her name, but she will know I mean her) her brother Angel, parents, grandparents, children alll play a part in making you feel welcome. Highly recommended! Muchas gracias Saiaritz.Guest review byNatalieAustralia

- From US$111.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 59 reviewsThe location was breathtaking, so peaceful and quiet. The room was light, cool, and airy. The bathroom is great with the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath, which I enjoyed. It is, however, quite a drive to town for restraunts that were small over crowded and most didn't serve food until 8 or 9, which for us personally was too late . I wish the Hotel served food in the small quaint dining room as the breakfast was outstanding . The smoothies were delicious . Dinner there would have made it the perfect stay .Guest review byBrodrickUnited Kingdom
- From US$146.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 471 reviewsThe hotel was excellent and our host was such a lovely lady. It is an excellent over-night stop as it is so near to catch the ferry in Bilbao the following day. The owner also gave us good advice about eating dinner in the nearby towns. We will definitely stay again. We have already recommended it to friends, who are due to stay there in early March.Guest review byAnthonyIreland

A lovely small town although not very touristy which is why we like it. Beautiful views all around. You can walk to the station and get the train to the centre of Bilbao which is great. We combined it with a stay in San Sebastian so quite a contrast. You can also go to The Rioja, and also Vitoria. Lots of bars and restaurants but catering for the local trade. We enjoyed it. The hotel has a spa which you can visit and is really good. Sunday mid day sees everyone sitting outside have a chilled white wine!Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Orozko is a lovely town.
Orozko is a lovely town. We really enjoyed walking around it. We had coffee and lunch there and both were excellent. We look forward to going there again, when we visit Spain next winter. The local people are very friendly and the staff in both the coffee shop and bar/restaurant where we had lunch were extremely nice.Guest review byAnthonyIreland - 10.0

A beautiful little walking town (actually it has historical city status!). Within easy train journey to Bilbao. Lots of wonderful scenery with plenty of interesting and/or challenging walks. Plenty of cafes with helpful locals. Vibrant town square in the evening. Great central place to use as a base for Basque activities.Guest review byMatthewAustralia
