What a wonderful find and beautiful region. The family that own the hotel could not have been friendlier or more accommodating from the moment we arrived, Annafel greeted us and showed us to our room, which was in the adjoining annex. It was a lovely spacious suite with a rustic character and a large leather sofa. Steps led down to a sumptuous bathroom in the cellar, complete with a sauna and spa bath. As we arrived at the end of the season and were the only guests on the first night, the restaurant was closed but reopened for the following two nights, when more guests arrived. The food was regional and very well prepared, as was the breakfast that offered an excellent selection. A special mention has to be made of Antonio, hotel manger & son of the owners, he was so friendly, helpful and fluent in many languages, he give us advice on what to do in the area and arranged dinner for us on the first evening at a local bar. The only slight disappointment and one we should have checked being out of season and current regulations imposed due the drought, was that the spa was only available by pre-booking and took a few hours to prepare, so we did not manage to use it but it looked fabulous!

    It was like staying in a fairytale. A small hotel, in a small village, located on a beautiful lake. The owners were delightful in every way, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Their recommendations on nearby activities and restaurants were excellent, as was the home cooking within the hotel. A wonderful and unique stay that was pure joy.

    This is amazing place for hiking, skiing, trekking, alpine climbing and just enjoying local culture and food, there are plenty of outdoor activities to explore. Marvelous views of Lanuza lake. Paradise for mountain lovers.

    The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains...

    The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains stunning. after we went for hiking on top of the mountain using the cable car which was an incredible hiking trips (we saw lakes on top of mountains and wild cows and horses), after we went down. we have taken a bath in the cold river next to the cable car station, it was very refreshing after a long hiking activity.

    Small village with a mountainous feel. Easy to get around on foot. A river runs through it. Has some picturesque buildings and church. Ample free parking on the street, several bars and restaurants for the size of the village. Mainly frequented by visitors using it as a base for skiing, nature walks, cycling, etc. in the area.

    Sabiñanigo is very near Jaca, which has much more to offer. Jaca is bigger but not too big and is just as well palced for visiting the Pyrenees. Sabiñanigo does not have enough options for restaurants, bars etc

    Magnificent place!

    Magnificent place! Lots of little bars and restaurants in the village with a few other places nearby…fantastic walking , incredible location and views…..a fantastic place to spend 2 or 3 nights if you are en route to the sunny spots of Spain!…. Large outdoor pool in the village as well. The journey there from Pau on the French side of the Pyrenees is breath taking…a must do…. Not for a faint hearted driver though!….several very narrow parts with rock over hanging the road one side and huge drops on the other!…soon pans out into wide easy driving though with lots of parking places and views that will not be forgotten!

    No staff on arrival only contact was by mobile, key safe wrong code given, also said no code needed, phone went missing whilst out, no staff first thing in the morning to except payment or speak with regards my phone. The person on the phone was only interested in payment by cash, €60 euro charged on my card, €40 cash was requested, no receptionist to take payment, in all it's a youth hostel very basic beds and bathroom,hand towel not shower bath towel. Then with out any notice €60 taken though booking was €40 maximum.

    It was okay for one night, but we wouldn’t go back. There was nothing around the hotel, you had to stay in the hotel to eat or drink something. Also the hotel wasn’t easy to find. The staff was very friendly, but the organisation in the kitchen was a bit messy.
