We only had time to visit a couple of sights, the main cathedral was beautiful, although we were unable to read any information as it was all in Spanish. We also visit El Tubo the old town - loads of places to eat, drink, reasonably well priced. We also visited the aquarium - tricky to get to as we used the tram. We found a lovely restaurant near the aquarium called La Tagitelle - an Italian - it was magnificent inside, very authentic. There was also a fantastic patisserie shop in Calle Don Jamie - wow! So much choice. There is a very good bus service around town and a cheap tourist bus, to see the sights. Would loved to have spent more time there!Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The biggest problem was finding the hotel - postcodes in Spain cover way too big an area and often the street location information seems to be in a local language variant and not accepted by a SatNav device. All this coupled with the fact that few people speak English makes finding hotels a bit of a problem.Guest review byGBC1946United Kingdom - 8.0

We went to the Monasterio de Piedra, which is amazingly beautiful, at Easter and on a Saturday. So the place was overcrowded, and it felt as if you were in a theme park, not in a natural park. I would go back on a regular working day if I could.Guest review byMariaSpain - 8.0

A wonderful medieval village that has been nicely restored, the locals are kind and welcoming. We had dinner at El Lenador, a very local bar/resto. The food was delicious with generous servings and great local atmosphere. An evening stroll back to the hotel was interesting and romantic 😊Guest review byJodiAckiUnited States - 10.0
The location may put some people off. Don’t let it.
The location may put some people off. Don’t let it. Once inside you could be in any good quality city hotel. Friendly, helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. We had a room for three adults and there was plenty of room. The food in the cafeteria was good quality and reasonably priced. We will not hesitate to return.Guest review byJohnSpain - 6.0

The information given about one of the plates for the dinner was inaccurate. The was a 15€ (fifteen Euro!!) for charging a hybrid plug/in Volvo 40XE that takes 8-9 kWh. This exorbitant charge was not informed before chargingh, only at check out.Guest review byClausSpain - 10.0
We know Spain fairly well but had never visited this city.
We know Spain fairly well but had never visited this city. We were very surprised. It's beautiful in the centre with Roman ruins, cathedrals and a fantastic nightlife with cafés; bars, great restaurants and tapas. Get along to see it if you can.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Large comfy room. Safe included. Good shower.
Large comfy room. Safe included. Good shower. Good views from the rooms at the front. Excellent breakfast. Evening meal is 3 courses of good, local food but you can have a burger on the terrace if you aren't that hungry. The restaurants in the town are very busy so you need to book.Guest review byDavidAbkhazia - 2.0
Wouldnt recommend this hotel.
Wouldnt recommend this hotel. Property tired and shabby ,outside space mesdy. Staff very unengaged. Didnt get the room we wanted but we were told it wasnt available however given we'd booked a month before this does not sound feasible. No staff member in dining room at breakfast. Couldnt even get a decent cup of tea.Guest review byGabrielleSpain - 10.0
We stayed a week in Zaragoza, but I wished we stayed longer.
We stayed a week in Zaragoza, but I wished we stayed longer. Here are some positive sides of Zaragoza - 1) Compared to some other more chaotic cities in Spain, Zaragoza is clean, quiet, safe and orderly, with well-run public transit. The city workers power-wash the streets religiously every day and take out residential trash every day (no sacks of trash piling up on the streets!). Very clean everywhere. 2) The smaller towns/cities around Zaragoza - Huesca, Tudela, Calatayud are really beautiful. The mountains are not far and Europe's most northern desert (the Royal Badlands National Park) is also close. 3) The city is equidistant to Madrid and Barcelona on the high speed rail line, so easy to access. 1.5 hour train ride to either Madrid or Barcelona. 4) Everything is much cheaper here than in Madrid or Barcelona.Guest review byAndrey
