We just felt immediately at home and part of the family. Everyone gave us great recommendations on what to do and we had a delicious breakfast every morning. Was so upset to leave!

If you think about Homestay experience, this is the perfect place ! Sarah and Sam are absolutely amazing! More than helpful, really kind and mindful! Thank you for your kindness and knowledge! Home is close to the airport and a bus stop. Sarah and Sam have really good tips on how to visit the island and will adapt to your way of traveling:) The food is absolutely great, and I garanty, you won't leave the table hungry ;) The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need, even a newly added AC ! Everything was fabulous, the food, the people, the room, the surroundings, the local beach. Perfect, I could not have asked for a better place to experience the beauty of Taveuni. Activities could be organised at the lodge and information and advice was always given freely. The staff there were all lovely, big shout out to Khali!! The gardens are beautiful and perfect to hang out in reading a book or relaxing (just beware of coconuts!) there is a lovely beach nearby with some food places and good snorkelling. I did some diving with Taveuni Ocean Sports (can organise through the lodge) and wow, just wow. Vinaka vaka levu, I will be back!

The location, the unirts, the host, breakfast, pool - everything exceeded our expectations. A great place and a superb host. Allan is outstanding!

The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.

As snorkelers, we weren't sure if we'd fit in at a dive resort, however, our concerns were completely unfounded. Heading out on the dive boat in the mornings and exploring the reef with a guide (while the divers explored other deeper parts of the reef) was exactly the experience we were hoping for. From the moment we checked in, we knew we were somewhere different to any other resort we'd stayed at. First and foremost, the staff are what make Taveuni Dive Resort so special. HIGHLY recommend the meal plan as the food is incredibly tasty and beautifully presented (besides, there's no kitchen in the bures, so cooking your own food is nigh impossible... and why would you want to!?). Speaking of bures, although no air conditioning, the dual fans were sufficient to keep us cool on the hot nights. Windows are all protected with mesh, so no issues with bugs. The shower was great (best in the afternoon when water is hottest). The king (maybe super king) bed was really comfortable. It was quite a novelty for us to have a turndown service! Starlink WiFi Internet is fast, but limited to the restaurant area. Cellphone reception is present, but patchy and slow data rates. For location, the resort is only a 15min boat ride from the reef. It's a 1.5hr drive to Lavena (one way) over some very rough dirt roads (the sealed sections are a blessing). The dive/snorkel outings are half day activities, so it's possible to do something else in the afternoon. The pool was great afterwards! Breakfast was selected the night before (at dinner) and had a good range to choose from. The breakfasts were excellent (as was all the food!). All meals are served at the restaurant. The staff catered for gluten free (banana bread was so good). Coffee, tea and filtered water was complimentary (dairy, soy and almond milk was available). Packed lunches can also be booked the night before to pick up at breakfast if heading out for the day.

The caretakers were awesome. It was easy to organise everything through the owner. Diving and snorkeling next door. Great kitchen set up. Insane views! Comfortable bed and living space . So peaceful and private.

I felt very at home with my bedroom, meals, company and the hosts were super and very friendly and welcoming.
