- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 38 reviewsI recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, it is highly recommended! The property is an old, beautiful house that exudes comfort and charm. It has been meticulously maintained and decorated with exquisite attention to detail, showcasing a refined taste throughout. Its location is simply perfect. Nestled in the heart of the French countryside, it’s surrounded by lush forests and picturesque paths ideal for leisurely walks or bike rides. Just a short stroll or bike ride away is a quaint village where you can enjoy delightful dinners in local restaurants, making the experience even more authentic and enjoyable. The hotel's setting offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful retreat in a scenic, rural environment, yet conveniently close to the charming villages of Provence. This makes it an excellent base for exploring the region's many attractions.Guest review byPatriciaArgentina
- From £275.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 314 reviewsThe hotel is even more beautiful onsite than in the photos, the visual experience is immersive and flawlessly executed with very good taste. The breakfast selection is not the widest, but everything on offer is handmade to a high standard. The area surrounding the hotel also adds to the same experience, the feeling of immaculately beutiful provencial countryside starts some kilometres before arriving at the hotel itself.Guest review byRistoFinland

The pool is perfect, with plenty of sun and shade to be found at any point in the day. The highlight might be the staff. Specifically Sylvie and Thomas who were exceedingly helpful and friendly. It is truly a château, the rooms are wonderful, the staff amazing, the grounds fabulous and the food exceptional. It is just 1.5km outside the charming town of St Remy. Saint Remy de Provence is such a lively, lovely town.
Saint Remy de Provence is such a lively, lovely town. Not too big like Avignon and not too small to have a lot of great restaurant choices. It's a wonderful, beautiful spot to use as a base location from which to explore other areas of Provence.Guest review byMicheleUnited States - 10.0

Such a pretty quintessential French town, with pretty buildings and the main road lined with trees. Friendly locals, and plenty to do in and around the town. The main square had bustling cafes and restaurants adding to the ambience. Great food shops with friendly staff. Everyone we met was happy and friendly. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area.Guest review byann marieUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Les Baux-de-Provence is undeniably a stunning landmark with its dramatic cliffs, historic ruins, and breathtaking views. The charm of the medieval village and its surroundings is truly something to behold. However, it's worth noting that the prices for basic goods and services in the area can be quite shocking. From restaurants to water bottles, the cost of everything seems to be significantly inflated. While the village itself is worth a visit for its beauty and history, be prepared for sticker shock and plan accordingly. Enjoy the sights, but be cautious with your spending to avoid the exorbitant prices charged by some establishments.Guest review byKronosCFrance - 10.0

We had a beautiful stay at JK Moulin and would return again and try another room! It was lovely from beginning to end and we couldn't be happier with the location. I highly recommend the property and the hosts. There was easy parking right there, and a lovely breakfast each morning. With so much nearby to explore you could easily stay an entire week or more.Guest review bymeganUnited States - 10.0

Eygalieres is a beautiful town, with a great market on a Friday. The town has some great places to eat. Highly recommend Maison Hache a one star Michelin, food was thoughtful and delicious. There are plenty of historical places to visit. https://www.carrieres-lumieres.com/en is a must if you like music and paintings. Many vineyards which are open for tastings in the area. I think you could easily stay for 1 - 2 weeksGuest review byCatherineNew Zealand - 10.0
The Chateau e Severnes was a completely fine surprise.
The Chateau e Severnes was a completely fine surprise. My room ( 15) was fine with an excellent modernized bathroom. However, there is no elevator but a lot of stars, hallways, and more stairs. to get to the room. Everyone working there was delightful and the restaurant was terrific. The 30 Euro "menu" was just right. Spend time walking around the grounds and reading the history of the place.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 10.0

Such a delightful town with stunning streets and hidden treasurers. Beautiful shops and Restaurants. Great place to stay if you want to visit Avignon. Buses go regularly from the town centre and drop off is a 10 minute walk to Palace of the Papes and Avignon Pont Bridge. So much better than driving and trying to find parking in a congested city.Guest review byBhrentNew Zealand - 10.0

A pleasant small town with good bars, restaurants and excellent shops providing quality local produce. All within walking distance and feeling very safe for children and those of more advanced years. A good location for day trips to larger towns, historic sites and the surrounding nature park.Guest review byGordonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

You need a car to take advantage of Les Beau and its environs. The castle and "village/hamlet" of Les Baux can be walked through in a day. More joy lies in exploring the surrounding villages and towns -- Mouries, Maussane, Paradou, and down to St. Martin le Crau. I found the exploration very worthwhile; beautiful to visit, excellent small markets, and a true southern France feel.Guest review byJacquelineUnited States - 10.0
We loved our stay at this charming and unique property.
We loved our stay at this charming and unique property. It’s set right in the picturesque Alpilles with the most wonderful friendly hosts and lots of horses! What could be better? The breakfasts were amazing and the location is right near many other sites and villages to visit. The property is large and very private with many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. The house is within walking distance to the tiny village of Paradou and a first rate Bistrot! Perfection in Provence!Guest review byLesley
