The property was absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail of the buildings, interior design and the groomed gardens was exceptional. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Down a long tree lined drive you come to a beautiful French family country house hotel set in stunning grounds. Reception is in a pleasant welcoming area, with warm vibes. The dining room has crisp white tablecloths, sparking glasses and cutlery. It oozes ambiance, with sophisticated furnishings. The candle lit bar is equally charming and alluring. The secluded terrace is a perfect size for an intimate dinner, breakfast or coffee. A pool with character, it is surrounded by a small stone wall with contemporary and traditional French plants. There are many different garden areas to sit and relax. Our room was exceptional - a sitting area with a white leather sofa, 2 tv, a fridge, mini bar coffee/tea facilities etc. Plenty of wardrobe space. An extremely large comfy bed, an amazing bathroom (we wanted to take it home) a huge private terrace overlooking olive trees and a second pool. Everything in this hotel is exquisite and of high quality, we didn’t see anything that needed to be repaired, updated or refurbished. The decor is beautiful and tasteful. The food is without doubt delicious. Nancy Bourguignon, the chef, has a michelin star and her finesse is reflected in the amazing breakfasts, canapés, petit four and delectable, mouth-watering, stunning dinners. You have to eat here to appreciate just how good it is. Customer Service exceeded all our expectations. The staff were helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to meet our needs. An easy and pretty walk of 0.75 miles (10 mins) to the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles where there are plenty of bars restaurants and shops all with a great French atmosphere Arles 0.30 mins drive Avignon 0.45 mins drive St Remy de Provence 10 mins drive The beautiful Les Baux des Provence 5 mins drive Aix en Provence 0.40 mins drive

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, it is highly recommended! The property is an old, beautiful house that exudes comfort and charm. It has been meticulously maintained and decorated with exquisite attention to detail, showcasing a refined taste throughout. Its location is simply perfect. Nestled in the heart of the French countryside, it’s surrounded by lush forests and picturesque paths ideal for leisurely walks or bike rides. Just a short stroll or bike ride away is a quaint village where you can enjoy delightful dinners in local restaurants, making the experience even more authentic and enjoyable. The hotel's setting offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful retreat in a scenic, rural environment, yet conveniently close to the charming villages of Provence. This makes it an excellent base for exploring the region's many attractions.

It was a wonderfully welcoming place. The reception staff were extra helpful in organising transfers to and from the train. The pool was fabulous, to swim in, and to laze beside. The setting in the beautiful gardens was idyllic. As was dining under the olive trees for the fabulous delicious dinners. The whole of our stay was delightful. .

Such a pretty quintessential French town, with pretty buildings and the main road lined with trees. Friendly locals, and plenty to do in and around the town. Les Baux-de-Provence is undeniably a stunning landmark with its dramatic cliffs, historic ruins, and breathtaking views. The charm of the medieval village and its surroundings is truly something to behold. However, it's worth noting that the prices for basic goods and services in the area can be quite shocking. From restaurants to water bottles, the cost of everything seems to be significantly inflated. While the village itself is worth a visit for its beauty and history, be prepared for sticker shock and plan accordingly. Enjoy the sights, but be cautious with your spending to avoid the exorbitant prices charged by some establishments.

The Chateau e Severnes was a completely fine surprise. My room ( 15) was fine with an excellent modernized bathroom. However, there is no elevator but a lot of stars, hallways, and more stairs. to get to the room. Everyone working there was delightful and the restaurant was terrific. The 30 Euro "menu" was just right. Spend time walking around the grounds and reading the history of the place.

You need a car to take advantage of Les Beau and its environs. The castle and "village/hamlet" of Les Baux can be walked through in a day. More joy lies in exploring the surrounding villages and towns -- Mouries, Maussane, Paradou, and down to St. Martin le Crau. I found the exploration very worthwhile; beautiful to visit, excellent small markets, and a true southern France feel.

We loved our stay at this charming and unique property. It’s set right in the picturesque Alpilles with the most wonderful friendly hosts and lots of horses! What could be better? The breakfasts were amazing and the location is right near many other sites and villages to visit. The property is large and very private with many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. The house is within walking distance to the tiny village of Paradou and a first rate Bistrot! Perfection in Provence!
