The staff at the hotel were so kind and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for us. The rooms were always spotless and perfectly kitted out with the latest technology. Food was exceptional - delicious and delivered to rooms and to the poolside within minutes. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

Well organised, professional hosts, excellent decor, exceptionally clean, air conditioning worked well, large double comfortable bed, shower was powerful and cubicle large, towels changed daily and room cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing with an added bonus of home made cakes and jams. Parking was literally outside the hotel on quiet street and the beach is opposite. Excellent location for us. Stéphane and Jêrome were excellent hosts. Their hotel was fantastic, giving information regarding facilities of the hotel and information of the area which made us feel well informed before our stay.

I loved my stay at the Chateau de Didonne. I stayed during a particularly stressful time for me personally, and the staff was so kind, attentive, caring and flexible. I cannot thank them enough. Rooms are beautiful country chateau style with modern spotless bathrooms. Chateau has a large garden with horses nearby, serene and i imagine perfect for children. Breakfast is home made, great quality and prepared just for you.

    We stayed at Hotel Residence des Flots while cycling the Velodyssee. The facilities were fantastic. We ate our dinner, and breakfast, on the patio in the warm spring weather. There was plenty of room for our bikes.

    An unexpected visit due to an issue with our truck but the place is lovely so I am quite happy we had the issue. I would definitely go back and stay for li get next time round. The beach front was full of lovely bars, restaurants and shops and the harbour/port area was also stunning.

    St Palais sur Mer is a beautiful and quiet little town with great beaches and a beautiful park. Easy to get around on foot. Lots of coastal walks although a small section was closed plus cycle routes. Excellent local amenities, shops and restaurants.

    We were returning to Vaux after many years, still as lovely as ever and surrounding areas were much improved especially the park. Beach was still beautiful and nice to see so many families enjoying a traditional holiday. Everything was within walking distance and the traditional market in the village was excellent.

    Lovely little town with great walks around the cliffs and to the port, where there are a selection of restaurants. Daily market, a few small shops and bars/restaurants, and a couple of supermarkets, beautiful church, and a cinema.

    Our first stay in Royan and somewhere we will not return, majority of the restaurants were poor being burgers, pizzas and microwave moules!la Rochelle is much better than Royan, I would definitely recommend La Rochelle but not Royan

    Pretty town in a lovely sandy bay with beautiful 19th century houses and some excellent restaurants, bars and shops. We ate at Chez Bob where we had an excellent meal with good wine and good service for a very affordable price. The town is in the coastal path and wonderful beaches.

    Royan has so many nice places and things to see and do.

    Royan has so many nice places and things to see and do. It has many excellent bars and restaurants. The port is beautiful too. We ate at L'inttendu Restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and very efficient. We will come back again soon.

    The staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating. The Spa was really amazing for such a small establishment. Our room was just right, comfortable and we could see the beach. Our dog felt very welcome. The neighbourhood was dog friendly. We had lots of long walks and saw beautiful sun rises and sun sets.
