Lovely small rural town centred on the Abbaye.
Lovely small rural town centred on the Abbaye. Town has recently attracted a small Carrefour supermarket which has helped to revitalise the town as a local shopping area. The town centre has all the "local" shops and appears to be thriving again. Perfect position to explore the local countryside. Peaceful and calm with easy access to the larger towns and the major road network. Truly spectacular building and the host could not have been...
Truly spectacular building and the host could not have been more helpful . We stayed on the fourth floor and I was pleased there was a lift , albeit a tiny one , as the walk up the spiral staircase was a long way . The grounds were huge and you can wander at will ,even take the rowboat out on the lake if you want ! Continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful !
