A beautiful hotel, located in the heart of this historic little town. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant and it was superb. Our room was very comfortable and my little dog was able to stay in the hotel too. I absolutely fell in love with Newton the resident doggy.

The hotel was clean, comfort and very good value. It states that it is 2* but we would def give 3+* The hosts are excellent and amiable, nothing was too much trouble. She was very knowledgable of the area and spent time in informing us of the places to see in the village and surrounding area. Food was excellent. There was plenty of outdoor sitting. Outside of the main bedroom areas was a communal sitting area which had coffee making facilities and also a large fridge if you had any items you wished to keep cool. We would definitely come again

The Castle is located on the countryside in Armagnac. Beautiful views around the castle, nice to walk in the vineyards. Very friendly personell and the site has its own Armagnac and wines. They were excellent. Good breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean and my bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently. I also had dinner there and it was very good. The place is nicely decorated with some colorful paintings on the walls. This gives the old castle a more modern touch, well done!

The rooms and bed were comfortable, the bed being large. The location was right next to the river with views of it, and the Cathedral from our window. The hotel had a lift, which was good for us with limited mobility. We took advantage of the private parking, which was behind a locked gate. There was a lovely big garden which would have been good to sit in during the summer months. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring not only Condom, but the interesting surrounding areas.

    The hotel is easy to find in a small village with lovely views of a chateau. The hosts are lovely and speak excellent English. The rooms are very spacious, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price and offers plenty of choice. Breakfast is alo very good. We enjoyed a lovely wander around the chateau after dinner

    When I arrived at reception, my host was courteous, efficient and extremely helpful. The hotel is situated in a wooded area about 50 metres off the main Tarbres route. It was quiet and the view stunning. At breakfast I was attended to by an extremely pleasant and helpful member of staff. Although, only an overnight, I would highly recommend this hotel.

    We went to Auch to visit my brother and niece. The property was a short distance from Auch in lovely country side. Very peaceful. The dining room looked very inviting but sadly we did not get an opportunity to eat there.

    Beautiful little town.

    Beautiful little town. We were attending a wedding there, in the Cathedral Sainte Marie. We were fortunate that the night prior was the Fete de la Musique. The town was very upbeat, with live music everywhere. We ate at a restaurant on the square and after walking around awhile we settled in at the Irish Rock Cafe for some live music and dancing outside the cafe. It doesn't take long to explore the town. Don't miss the Cathedral. Make sure, if you are not driving your own vehicle, that you prearrange transportation. Although there was a taxi stand, there weren't any taxis available. As a disclaimer, we have no idea what this town is like on a typical Friday evening.

    The highlight has to be the lovely chapel of Carmel when the nuns are singing their office every day. Such a peaceful, spiritual experience. The people of the town also seemed to welcome the hundreds of pilgrims passing through on their way towards Compostella. The cathedral church is also lovely. The Restaurants were excellent, the main street lively, especially on Friday - Market day. The views from the Bastion were stunning - especially on a clear day when you can see the Pyrenees
