- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 86 reviewsClean, comfortable accommodation for self catering. The pool, sauna and steam room are lovely. Checking in and out process easy with friendly, helpful staff. There’s a free shuttle bus ‘La Ronde’ from opposite the apartments straight to the furnicular, you can be on the slopes in half an hour. There’s a supermarket within a minute’s walk. Nothing related to CGH Le Coeur d’Or but we didn’t enjoy our meal at the Cherry Garden ‘Thai’ restaurant, least authentic and tasteless green curry ever, but there’s some really nice restaurants in Bourg town centre like La Boite Chaud and Le Chalet. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the town centre.Guest review byNickTItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 174 reviewsIt was our third time in Hôtel du golf and we loved it. We had a fabulous ski holiday and the location of the hotel is key for us. Ski-in-ski-out, ski rental next door, next to ski lifts, and resort carpark nearby. We really like the all inclusive aspect of the hotel, makes our holiday hassle free. The food is great, lots of choice and good quality and we liked the new addition of the sparkling water fountain. We had a lovely dinner in the Savoyard restaurant one night. Staff are very helpful and do great work. We hope to be back again next year!Guest review byElizabethIreland
- From £108.82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 795 reviewsEverything was really perfect. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated and well-run. The room I had (ground floor, lovely South-facing terrace with table, chairs and a sun-bed), a few steps from the indoor pool, was very comfortable and ideal for me. An excellent breakfast is provided in a delightful dining room, with the walk to the nearest restaurants and the centre of town being no problem at all during the daytime, although worth taking the car at night. There is ample (free) parking and a good, strong (free) wifi signal.Guest review byJohnAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 141 reviewsJust an excellent location for a ski trip to Les Arc. The chalet/hotel is right on the slopes, and the need to be collected from a near-by ski lift and to be delivered by snow jeep makes for a memorable arrival/departure. Despite this season not being the best for snow conditions, we were able to ski (with a bit of care) right back to the hotel. Julie and her team run an excellent show, and are always concerned to deliver a quality stay.Guest review byBerndGermany

Huge so plenty of space for our family of five to relax, great kitchen area and all beautifully clean and well equipped. The staff at Reception were incredibly patient and helpful. Directly opposite the lift to the slopes. We loved it!Guest review bylucyUnited Kingdom

Great for cheaper and more spacious accommodation and ten minute trip up the hill in the regular funicular to get to Arc 1600. Saves a 50 minute car drive, especially if snowy or time is key. Though usually no snow itself in Bourg. Pretty old town and a functional new town on parallel street. Big supermarkets for stocking up.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great for beginners and intermediates.
Great for beginners and intermediates. Snow sure for later in the season. Family friendly but lots going on for those looking for apres ski. Good variety of food. Beautiful scenery. Great choice of ski runs for skiers and boarders alike.Guest review byCrystalUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Quick access to some of the harder runs eg.
Quick access to some of the harder runs eg. Comborciere, Malgovert and Bois d'Ours without going up the Aiguille Rouge, but a bit tough to get home for less confident skiers down a fairly steep red run. Be careful of the new Secret red run parallel to the Comborciere if you're not keen on ice too! Much more of a village than Arc 1800 but restricted restaurant choice of 5 or 6 and very little nightlife. Most restaurants are OK but no standouts.Guest review byDuncanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It is a nice extensive ski area, with good lifts and well-maintained slopes and fairly guaranteed snow. The village looks cozy, we only find the restaurants in Arc 1950 to have deteriorated a bit, the menu is almost the same everywhere. And some come across as food barns.Guest review byMichaelNetherlands - 10.0

A good selection of runs of different difficulties, plenty of runs for beginners. Good lift system. Some of the bars were a bit rough and ready. Restaurant 2134 was excellent. Easy access to 1950 where the quality and variety of food shops was better.Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and sports shops with good access to resorts like Les Arcs and La Rosière. Very walkable; not too big and not too small. Need to be patient with traffic between 5pm - 7pm during peak season.Guest review byAndrewSpain - 10.0
Have stayed many times and always had good snow.
Have stayed many times and always had good snow. This season there was less than usual but still enough to ski the whole area right down to the village. Was quieter that usual when we were there but didn’t detract from experience. Everything you need is very accessible so you can maximise your time, which is especially useful for shorter stays.Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Staying in Arc 1950 has been a dream since I first skied through it a few years ago. Skiing from here could not be easier - village is entirely pedestrianised with underground car parking linked conveniently via lifts to all the various accommodations. All accomms have direct access to the pistes - ski out from the boot rooms, through the village and straight on to a big blue run or cross it for ski lifts (Marmotte and Bois de l'Ours). Various ski hire options in village, great bakery open good hours, and decent, well stocked Carrefour all within a 5min walk. Lively little village with plenty going on and options for all ages. Recommend booking underground parking space in advance with Effia. Overall, a magical experience and can't wait to be back there again :)Guest review byHollyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Our stay in Bourg St Maurice early July gave us the opportunity to go hiking and cycling. Positives: It is easy to access the town by train There is lots to do for all the family. An easy cycle route along the river; climbs to the ski resorts and lots of E-bike trails and places to hire E-bikes if that’s your sport. There was lots of kayaking on the river which was fun to watch and Im sure fun to do if you have the ability! Hiking trails are well marked. Locally there’s an easy etang stroll or you can walk in the mountains. The funicular up to Les Arc was opening on 98.07.23 for the summer so you could access the hikes up there without a car. The old town has charm. There are two huge hyper markets and sports shops Negatives: It is a working town so some parts are functional rather than pretty. However, the hydroelectric station is quite interesting. Some shops and restaurants were closed. I don’t know if this was seasonal or permanent.Guest review byLizMiddlebrookUnited Kingdom
