CanadaGorgeous hotel on a quiet street but close to everything in Luz. Lovely people with loads of information about things to do and see, whose welcome made it feel that we were staying at a friend's house rather than a hotel. But a friend's house in a beautiful building with amazing breakfasts. We loved how the hotel spilled out on to the street during the evening, and enjoyed a glass of wine or two right next to a templar church.

United KingdomArrived as a group of 4 on motorbikes, good secure off road parking for the motorbikes. Staff very friendly and helpful, good bar at the hotel, evening meal and breakfast was great. Nice location though it is ski resort prices for food and beer.

ItalyIncredible view from the windows. The house was clean and looks exactly as from the picture, if not better.
Additionally, the owners are incredible persons. We arrived super late and they were there waiting for us, even if we could not let them know because we did not have connection. And finally, they saved our trip. We had a problem with the car, we spent all day trying to fix it but no one looks wanted to help us (even the insurance wanted to fix it in 3 days for a tyre replacement). We struggle so much without knowing French. But they just came to us and stayed with us helping, talking to insurance for us and at the end, finding a place to get the tyre and replace it. Very good person! Still thank you.

United KingdomWe had a fantastic time, the house is beautiful in a great location. Amazing views in a peaceful location with a short walk to town. Amazing access to the mountains
But most importantly the host Christine is perfect.
Couldn't be more helpful, she collected us and our bikes from the airport, made several recomendations of the area. Baked us a cake, provided us with fresh eggs from the chickens. Continued to let us know of other thing happening in the area. What a wonderful host with a lovely family.
We will be back for sure.

I love this village, very well situated between Pic du Midi, Gavarnie, and Pont d'Espagne directions. It has everything you need as a tourist: supermarkets and specialty stores (wine, cheese, etc), restaurants, a small market, a tourist office, parks, and several walking trails around the valley (ask for a map in the tourist office), a spa center... The Templar fortified church: amazing, though nothing to do with the Templars. The little castle up the hill. A scramble, but a great view. Closest town to utterly spectacular Cirque du Gavarnie; close enough to gorgeous Pont d'Espagne (drive round to Cauterets for access). Cheerful pizza Ariane.
