- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,673 reviewsWe stayed with our dog in a room with sea view and it was truly spectacular! The big and very comfortable room had everything we could wish for, and the location of the hotel is fantastic! Just a 15 minutes relaxed walk to the center around Port Maria, and about 30 minutes coast walk to Pointe Conguel, having great beaches and also delicous food close by. Parking is very easy just in front of the hotel and a lot is reachable in walking distance. The breakfast room with its huge windows facing the cote sauvage is tasteful and comfortable, and the breakfast offers something for every taste, from local speacialities to warm options like bacon and eggs. Leaving this wonderful place made us really sad, and we left with the hope of returning!Guest review byGudrunAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 583 reviewsIt starts with the location overlooking the Sauzon coastline in a beautiful spot in nature, continues with facilities such as amazing rental and storage of bikes, then pool, sauna and jacuzzi all set in beautiful settings with crazy views, up until the food which was a real surprise for a 3* hotel. The vegetarian restaurant is really worth it, their dinners tasty and creative and their breakfast really worth the price, the best I had in years, all homemade and delicious. Great presentation, plenty space, also outdoors. Finally, the staff - both at the hotel and the restaurant were exceptional. Not used to such level of warmth and professionalism in France. Will definitely be back!Guest review byLíviaBelgium
- From £134.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 160 reviewsThe hotel is newly refurbished and the attention to detail shows. It is positioned well on the edge of the town centre with lovely views out over the sea. The beautiful beaches are within walking distance. The evening meal in the restaurant was beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive but not at all overbearing. We had a problem on our first night and were quickly and efficiently moved to another room without question . The ambience allowed a completely relaxed experience.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom

- From £349.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 664 reviewsSurely the most beautiful hotel on the island in terms of architecture and location? Delightful helpful staff, beautiful interior decor. Even though we hadn't paid the extra for a sea view our room at the back corner looked over the swimming pool to the sea beyond and the light house behind. Free shuttle service to and from ferry was excellent and very easy. Bike hire likewise.Guest review byPennyUnited Kingdom

Pretty and extensive medieval centre, very photogenic,...
Pretty and extensive medieval centre, very photogenic, lovely shops and eateries. Similarly the port area directly adjacent. If you're going by car the roads and one-way systems are horrible. Head for large car parks rather than try street parking. There are also strange experimental bus lanes that run up the middle of the road and have right of way crossing in front of you. A town and port wander would take a good couple of hours. Buzzes with life in the night.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 6.0
We went to the Interceltique Festival at Lorient.
We went to the Interceltique Festival at Lorient. The town was virtually rebuilt after World War 2 damage and is therefore not all that aesthetically pleasing in itself. However, a good base for hopping on a train to Quimper, Vannes or other 'pretty' destinations.Guest review byAlunUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Auray is a pretty little town and it has a wonderful market on Mondays. One of the best French markets we have been to. There is plenty to explore in the Morbihan (we used the trains a lot as well as our car) We recommend two sights in particular: 1. the megalith stones at Carnac 2. Going inside the submarine at L'OrientGuest review byDeirdreUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Le Palais is the main town in Belle Ile, which is well named as it is beautiful. It has restaurants, creperies and interesting shops as well as tourist ones. Many people sail here and moor for a night or several. There is a fine 17th century citadel overlooking the town and a little harbour with lots of watch.Guest review byLeeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We stayed 4 nights. We had visited this town previously and this time were still able to find places to visit and enjoy. We also had several easy and interesting bike rides along the Blavet and the Canal Nantes-Brest. I would be happy to live thereGuest review byGaeAustralia - 6.0
We did not like this town.
We did not like this town. The property is in the centre of town and we did not feel safe there. It was very down at heel in the centre although we walked out further to a a supermarket and the suburbs looked and felt fine.Guest review byRichfirsUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I just wanted a location close to Vannes for easy access to restaurants for evening meals with internet access and free parking right outside as I was carrying many heavy tools and equipment. Also good road connections to Arzon (Port du Crouesty) where I was working on my boat in the daytime. It ticked that box perfectly.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
