- From US$561.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 34 reviews1-They treated us as real guests ! They never ask for credit cards to block our money, or pay deposit, although , we had our dinner in the 3 stars Mechlin restaurant and the cost was over 600 €, no one asks us to sign anything, all was charged to the room, professional staff, they spot what you like and what you don’t, like our drinks on the breakfast for the next day, they pay attention for the details. 2- They granted us gifts, desserts, cakes, with a nice message left on the table informing us that there is a gift for us in the mini bar. 3- so friendly staff, we love everything from the moment we checked in, to the moment we check out, also a gift from the garden upon our check out. Amazing hotel, last but not least the location was wonderful, our room was Mountain View, Definitely would come back againGuest review byAhmadKuwait
- From US$477.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 3,302 reviewsThe location is perfect. Quietly by the lake by easy to walk to old town Annecy. Decor and style of interiors very nice. We were there just prior to Xmas and it looked beautiful. The staff were lovely, especially the dining/breakfast and bar staff. Jean jacques at dinner was especially nice and at breakfast a lovely gent with red hair and glasses whose name I have forgotten was doing a marvellous job, always checking with his guests that all was well. The Spa area is wonderful. It was also our daughter’s 21st and we were surprised in our room with cake and champagne. Truly, thank you so very much.Guest review byJanUnited Kingdom
- From US$86.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.8Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 425 reviewsLoved the location. Very easy to walk into Evian les bains which has a Fri market, lots of shops and resturants. If you have a car it's a short drive to chateau Chillon, Yvoire and Morzine and the Gorges de Diable. Lovely and warm room with a well equipped kitchen area.. There is a large room with a few pieces of gym equipment which we used for pilates. Nice clean pool. You could pre book a set 3 course meal for 16 euros.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 4,701 reviewsWe stayed in the MOB Hotel during our bicycle tour Via Rhona. And we loved all in this hotel. The philosophy, the decoration, the very comfortable bed, the friendly service, the lively atmosphere with families, the bio restaurant with organic food and the best mezze I have ever eaten. And Lyon is a City with lots of exciting places to visit. So we even extended our stay for one day. We can really recommend this hotel.Guest review byUrsulaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 412 reviewsFantastic place full of atmosphere. Old building beautifully restored in a unique place in front of the lake. A very nice spa area and a room that was big and comfortable. Both the room service (excellent!!) and the restaurant can be highly recommended. And the staff was incredible service minded. A high class place - but not stuffy at all.Guest review byStig VistiBelgium

The city of Lyon was so beautiful that one could spend hours just taking it all in. Everyone I met was really nice and willing to lend me a hand. I had several fantastic meals and was really satisfied with the value because this city is known for its cuisine. The service was consistently elegant regardless of the venue, from fine dining to fast food. If you're looking for a vacation spot that will nourish your body, mind, and spirit, this is the place to go.Guest review byDeryaTurkey - 10.0

A very scenic little town, though maybe a little expensive in some places. Almost every corner you turn, you'll enjoy a nice view, and the streets are nice to wander around. It's not a very big place, so if you're physically able, it's easy to get around on foot. If you're staying outside the town centre and you're going out late, carry a torch – some paths can get quite dark. Taking a cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi is worth the price, with some breathtaking views of Mont Blanc (be prepared for the altitude – it feels very disorienting if you're not used to it). The Mer de Glace is also a nice excursion, but it's very sad to see how much of the glacier is now gone thanks to climate change. There are some fantastic restaurants to stop at. I recommend L'Index for something upscale (ask the waiters about all the local produce they use) and La Fine Bouche serves an excellent dinner. For something more casual, head to Arcus Coffee for brunch or Yak for some Nepalese cuisine (order the momo dumplings!).Guest review byMarkFrance - 6.0

Annecy is very beautiful - but a lot of people know that! So it was immensely busy around the area where our hotel was, which is where the town meets the lake. I would not go again in high season. We rented bikes and cycled around the lake (38km) which was enjoyable, but a lot of people do that as well.Guest review byMikeUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The town is quite run down with a lot of graffiti and many closed businesses. The gondola to the Bastille was very uncomfortable and really there was nothing at the top, except the view of the city. However, we had two great dinners - one in a traditional French restaurant and the other at a 1 star Michelin restaurant.Guest review byElizabethAustralia - 4.0
To be honest, Valence is an ugly city.
To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down. If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.Guest review bybNetherlands - 8.0
Interesting town with cultural heritage.
Interesting town with cultural heritage. I was just passing through en route from Italy to London but it is a perfect stopover for one night. Unfortunately I was there on a Monday, when some attractions eg the castle are closed but I did visit the cathedral. There are many restaurants which sell local produce.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Aix-les-Bains is a very pleasant town on the shores of the biggest lake in France: Lake Bouget. There are lots of restaurants and places to visit including a Casino, mountains and water sports. If you can, we recommend you try the boat cruse around the lake and include a meal on board.Guest review byBarryUnited Kingdom - 2.0

The bed bugs. toilet paper . I made 3 separate booking .You have to buy your own Toilet paper .room cleaning is extra charge .If I booked 3 times in separate occasions they must be doing the bed and give the cleaned room to me no matter its same room . I paid full price .There was a bug at the window and Room220 is right at the road where Tram runs 24 hours almost .Christina is very rude so be firm with her .The rest of girls are really nice and speaks some English.Christina does not know English at all .She should not be working at a hotel where mostly Foreigners stays .Guest review byfouziaCanada - 4.0

Pros: The chalet is spacious, well located, and looks just like the photos. Beautiful surroundings. Cons: Very expensive for the experience. Out of 10 days, 5 with no hot water. Support was unresponsive (calls ignored, WhatsApp replies delayed). With small children this was very hard.Guest review byNirUnited States - 6.0
Evian-les-Bains in June, during what should be peak tourist...
Evian-les-Bains in June, during what should be peak tourist season, felt unexpectedly lifeless. Many stores appeared permanently closed, and the town lacked any real atmosphere after early evening—by 10pm, only the casino restaurant was still serving food. This left few options for late dining or entertainment. Given these circumstances and the general sense of a closed-up town, I would not recommend visiting Evian-les-Bains, especially if you're expecting a lively lakeside resort experience. While some guides and official tourism pages highlight Evian's attractive lakefront, Belle Époque architecture, and potential activities along the lake and nearby outdoors, recent firsthand accounts confirm a lack of vibrancy and operational businesses, even in traditionally busy months. For travelers who prioritize a bustling atmosphere and broad dining options long into the evening, it may be better to look elsewhere.Guest review byRudyKUnited States
