It’s especially convenient since the hotel is right next to the Bioparc and Lyon’s 8th arrondissement, making it easy to get to all the main attractions. The metro line is just a straight 15-minute ride to the center, which is awesome. Plus, we easily found free parking right across the street, and they also have their own parking that's pretty affordable. The staff were absolutely amazing—so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The transport system was so efficient.
The transport system was so efficient. The sun was out and it was surprisingly hot. Lake Leman was beautiful, we enjoyed our cruise. We even swam in the lake, most refreshing. We visited in July during the French Theater festival.
We visited in July during the French Theater festival. It was a little too busy for our liking, but if you like French theater, it's a great time to be there. We took a tour of the Pope's palace, which is amazing and well worth visiting. We also did a half day tour of the lavender fields, which are about an hour away. Arles is a very nice City.
Arles is a very nice City. Plenty to see - antiquities and art. The Luma project was particularly good. Lots of good restaurants. Best time to visit is late August/September. To be honest, Valence is an ugly city.
To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down. If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.Guest review bybNetherlands - 8.0
The place was okay for one night
The place was okay for one night Reza the young man who worked at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. There was no AC as it was mentioned but the room was very hot. They offer a microwave to worm up your food and the breakfast was just enough (coffee, croissants, cheese and jams). Easy access and close to the high way and the gas station. Gallo Roman Museum is terrific. Other Roman sites were closed. Ancient theatre being made into a modern facility. Cathedral was very large and old but interesting. Lots of bars and restaurants.
