- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 713 reviewsLovely staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. Great location to travel around and to restaurants and shops. Very cosy, modern and original pod with all amenities you need including complimentary coffee etc. Good tv channels too. They clearly take pride in their accomodation and the service they offer. The combo shower/toilet took a little getting used to (constant wet floor when needed the loo), but tis glamping after all I suppose. Was a little tight at times but they have put effort into storage and amenities in every nook and cranny, even for your luggage which we had trouble with at other pods elsewhere. Would definitely recommend. The Bothy was very cool too! Thank you Ken & wife! (Sorry cannot remember your name :( ) xGuest review byLieselGibraltar
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,584 reviewsWe stayed for 3 nights - 4 adults and 3 young kids and we had a wonderfull vacation. The place is amazing. The house was big, clean and had everything you need for a long stay - big livingroom, long big table, full kithcen with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and showers, washing maching and also a sauna and a balcony. The 3 bedrooms were big and comfortable. The place has free pool, gym and souna which is great, especially when you are with kids. Also great fields and grass for the kids to play. Wifi was good and ofcourse free parking. Location is also great near Avimor, easy base to travel around.Guest review byadiIsrael
- From £82.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 343 reviewsExcellent site. The pod was perfect with a fridge, kettle and microwave. Site was immaculate. The toilet block and shower rooms were very well kept. There are loads of activities on and off site for families or individuals do do. We were sorry that we were only staying one night. This site is so good that a longer stay is warranted to see and do everything.Guest review byCathyIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 1,744 reviewsThe stay was great. Everything went smoothly, clean room, great breakfast and lovely staff. Parking was also super easy and the location is great for anyone who wants to visit the distillerys of Speyside. Great choice to be in a quieter and more laid back place than Inverness or Aviemore.Guest review byKarenBrazil

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Park was well run and clean. People very helpful.
Park was well run and clean. People very helpful. Beautiful location. Town was lovely. Pod was bright and clean, first time staying in one, good experience, shower was great! Had coffee and a muffin in an art shop on the main street, best muffin ever, husband and wife team, very pleasant and friendly.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A very scenic town centre.
A very scenic town centre. A good supermarket and several specialist shops (bookshop especially) . just try and avoid the sweetshop (far too tempting) Several nice restaurants and an excellent fish and chip shop. Bike hire by the old station and easy routes along the old line.Guest review byRobinsonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I was not visiting Newtonmore, but climbing. Newtonmore is a nice village with some good hotel restaurants and bars and is in a lovely setting in the hills. its probably a good centre for a touring holiday, and there are quite a few good places easily reached from here.Guest review byDave_ShanksUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kingussie is a beautiful town, brilliantly located in the middle of Scotland, within reach of many wonderful sites of interest, including historic Ruthven Barracks, a number of castles and gardens, the stunning Cairngorms, and much more. Outdoor and adventure activities abound throughout the region. Not too far to go to Ben Nevis, Fort William, Perth, Inverness, Morayshire...Guest review byKarenAustralia - 8.0

Very disappointing stay.
Very disappointing stay. Staff were rude and unhelpful - especially at breakfast. Dining staff Bella’s behaviour was shockingly unprofessional and not acceptable. Dirty, smelly rooms, one with a broken bed. Complaints were brushed off with a simple “sorry.” We booked 4 rooms for family visiting from Canada and deeply regret choosing this hotel. Definitely not worth the 4-star rating.Guest review byNiaz - 8.0

Nestled amongst the mountains with paths and tracks leading all over what’s not to like? Sadly, the general facilities here have gone. No shop for example. One place did have a sign out for coffee, but there could be an opportunity here for someone. Worth climbing up the Cateran Trail heading south to get stunning views looking down on the village. Also visit the stone circle, old bridge and the church. Just soak up the atmosphere!Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
International dark sky park and local ski centre.
International dark sky park and local ski centre. Didn’t have enough time to visit other local attractions like the castle ruins, Jacobite battle sites etc. could spend weeks up here if you’re outdoor people!Guest review bymichael
