- From £90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.7Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 2,083 reviewsThey have the kindest most helpful hard working and friendly staff I've encountered in my travels. The place is receiving the attention it needs to make it more modern without losing its charm, it has a new owner, new staff in training, the food is nice, the place is big and it has a bar. The room has good curtains for the windows keeping the room dark in the summer, which for me is essential. I'd very much like to stay there again and I recommend the stay.Guest review byDanielle De CarvalhoBrazil
- From £198 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 614 reviewsScottish spirit that was in everything. The building itself is more than 120 years old, as i understood because of the picture in the restaurant. Free parking . Clean and cozy . Delicious food. Well, as for the location : if you are on these lands, it's quite late, and you are tired of driving. This is the best place to relaxGuest review byBakuradze VasilGeorgia

A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Wick is not a pretty place, but it has plenty of history.
Wick is not a pretty place, but it has plenty of history. It looks tired and shows the decline in modern industry and is often bypassed when development opportunities are on offer. This is particularly so with the main truck road being diverted away from the County town. Still its good to see activity in the harbor associated with 'green technology.' The Norseman - great Sunday Carvery The Trinky and The Old Man of Wick - interesting history Getting Around - best walk it - you miss too much otherwise Use the bus to get around the County of Caithness such as, Sincair Bay, John O' Groats, Mey, Dunnet, Castletown, Thurso, Halkirk and Watten. A we excussion to Dunnet Head is good too. So Wick is interesting and good as a base to visit the rest of Caithness.Guest review byTonyUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Everything surpassed expectations.
Everything surpassed expectations. I had the most peaceful night that I can remember, the facilities were spot on, the views were spectacular and one immediately felt a peacefulness that I can only describe as sublime. The caravan itself was immaculate and I particularly liked the decking which had double doors opening out on to it. The provisions left were outstanding, the layout and size of the rooms made it easy for us of advanced age to navigate , the beds comfortable and the washing and showering facilities very clean and easy to use.Guest review byEdgar - 10.0

A really lovely hotel.
A really lovely hotel. Food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing (apart from Tart Tatin very soggy pastry). Staff professional, helpful and friendly. Disappointed couldn’t have a cocktail at bar. However, a fab place to stay.Guest review byCatrinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0
