- From € 111.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,215 reviewsIt was an amazing experience for us to stay in a manor house like this in the English countryside for a reasonable price. Wandering the house to our room gave us this 'Countryhouse Mystery' / 'Agatha Christie' feel that we were looking for, for a long time :) The room was sparkling clear, comfy and nicely decorated. The location didn't offer breakfast, but had recommendations, and we choose to go to have breakfast to the nearby (by car) Madingley Hall which is another gorgeous House used by the University. I highly recommend to stay in Rectory farm, for more tan one night if possible.Guest review byBotondHungary
- From € 91.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 555 reviewsEasy to find and off the street, so very quiet. Great off road parking and welcoming reception The room though basic was quite large and very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was an added bonus. A great spot to stay while travelling in the area. Can recommend itGuest review byHelenAustralia

The Fitzwilliam Museum is stunning and we need to go back to it, superb. Kings College Chapel is World class too. The city was gorgeous and felt very safe. The people are very friendly and it was such a nice trip. So much to see and do and we loved it. Great places to eat and so many outstanding attractions. Anyone who has not been to this beautiful city please go, treat yourself. The Fitzwilliam is the best museum/art gallery outside London. Go for a punt on the river, very relaxing. The botanical gardens is very nice too. It is so easy to get round and you can hire cycles and scooters. Best trip we have had for years, loved it.Guest review byColinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Ely is a compact city and the sights can be seen is a day.
Ely is a compact city and the sights can be seen is a day. The jewel is undoubtedly the cathedral which is stunning. We ascended the octagon tower which is a 'must'. A riverside walk is also very worthwhile.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Wisbech is very run down and generally unpleasant in my opinion. I went there for an event which was good, but if you have no prior reason to visit, I would recommend giving it a miss. I’ve added no photos cos I took none. The castle and church are fine buildings, as are some of the run down buildings. On Saturday lunchtime there was a group of Eastern European men drinking beer and openly urinating in the churchyard, it didn’t get much better in the town area.Guest review byDarronUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Gone down-hill in the last few years and no decent shops. As with most small towns, completely overtaken with charity shops, vape shops and barbers.....a real shame as we used to love a stroll into the townGuest review byALEXANDERUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Clean. Spacious room overlooking barley fields. Friendly staff and a tasty breakfast buffet that was all a traveller would need. Excellent value and good to know the Old Great North Road =B1043 which is clue how to get there! We ate authentic Indian cuisine at the Resto next door and took good Value diesel at the 24/7 pumps also next door.Guest review byMrs L LUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This was ideal for what we needed, we were attending a concert at the nearby Audsley End Hall & Gardens. By taxi it was about a 10 minute journey , you can book Uber yourself, but remember they are more expensive later in the evenings. The reception has local taxi numbers, but again they are also quite expensive. If you are using your own car to go anywhere , the site is very secure and you have ample parking space. The grounds are lovely so you can have a nice walk , and the facilities are great. There are a couple of bars and the main dining room is lovely. The rooms are spacious and modern. Huge Beds that are really comfy.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A beautiful calm place, ideal if you are a nature lover.
A beautiful calm place, ideal if you are a nature lover. Also excellent if you are interested in art and history - two medieval churches and one chapel, all of them within a walking distance. The most famous attraction is certainly IWM Duxford with the stunning aircraft collection - and it really is breathtaking. However, there's so much more Duxford has to offer!Guest review byDominikaPoland
