- From £945 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsStaying at Glencoe house is truly like being royalty for a day (or however long you are lucky enough to stay here!).This former private estate is in a stunning location overlooking a large loch and the surrounding hills. There is a smaller loch on the property with hiking trails and wildlife, too! Step off the trail and find yourself in an impeccable room. Our group enjoyed a two bedroom suite with views from every window, a generous sitting room, dining room, and two enormous bedrooms, all luxuriously furnished yet completely comfortable. Our friends had a spacious lodge room, with a fully stocked kitchen, living area, hot tub, airy loft and a cheerful wood stove to enjoy. The staff is phenomenal, the meals outstanding, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Just wow!Guest review bySharonUnited States
- From £295 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 848 reviewsMy little Aos Sí lodge absolutely exceeded my expectations. A stunning and tranquil location, a small stream running down past my bathroom window down through the mountains. Beautiful huge, comfy bed with crisp linen... a comfy dressing gown and slippers to top it off. A hot chocolate and a hot bath after a cold and wet day exploring in stunning Glencoe... what more can a solo traveller ask for! Highly recommend... ***** I'll certainly be back one day! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.Guest review byAdeleAustralia
- From £225 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 969 reviewsReading other reviews beforehand made me unsure of booking this place but honestly people are just dramatic and maybe haven't stayed outside of cities in UK before. It was super lovely place to stay and while it's not the newest building maybe, everything worked perfectly, the room was cosy and cute, and it was clean and had everything you'd need like kettle, hair dryer etc.Guest review byAnetteEstonia

The hotel has a nice vintage feel to it with a drinks parlour where all the guests could socialise in the evening. The restaurant was also fantastic for a dinner and the staff were really welcoming.Guest review byChristi RNetherlands

Stunning scenery and an interesting visitor center although we would have liked more information about how the people lived here in times gone by and about the Glencoe massacre. There was also a clear lack of toilets for the number of people visiting and the gift shop was more expensive than others we've been too. A walk around nearby Bllaculish and the remains of the quarry also added a little interest to the area. The gift shop had a range of items from cards to childrens toys to souvenirs that seemed a little more reasonably priced.Guest review byFrancesIreland - 10.0
Superb.
Superb. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier accommodation-the view was spectacular, the facilities were amazing, place was cosy, comfortable with all creature comforts & carpark-just a few minutes walk away from waterfall, supermarket, river, etc. Wished we could have stayed longer. Fully recommend it!Guest review byKarenMalaysia - 10.0

We had a fantastic stay at Ballachulish House! The property is absolutely beautiful, and our rooms were charming and well-maintained. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the lake, ample privacy, and the convenience of parking and the well maintained kitchen. We especially loved the thoughtful and cute décor, which added to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more special. As a family, we want to express our immense gratitude for their hospitality and for making our holiday so memorable. We would love to return in the future and highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway!Guest review byMohiUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kinlochmore (aka Kinlochleven - the same place give or take a bridge), has an interesting industrial history as well as nestling in the footsteps of Ben Nevis and at the top end of Loch Leven. Watching others on the rapids of the River Leven was fun. Co-op was well stocked and good for lunches. Also a stopping point on the West Highland Way.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I loved passing through Glencoe for sightseeing from the car, catching a sunset on an evening hike. The parking in Glencoe is very limited so makes it annoying, but it is beautiful I would only pass through...Guest review byStephanieUnited States - 10.0

I went in Glencoe to visit the Glenfinnian Viaduct, well known for Harry Potter's films. Obviously the trail was not in loneliness because is very famous but when I took a look around I noticed many path and trail that I could do and I was sorry to not stay more time over there. Highlans are Highlands an take a bit of time to travel around them.Guest review byMonicaItaly - 8.0

Glencoe has a very small downtown, but the real draw is the beautiful country side surrounding it which is absolutely stunning. We would recommend a visit to the Glencoe visitor center which has a nice cafe, shop and a movie room which is worth attending (20 minute video on Glencoe and its fascinating history) - a great primer for your subsequent explorations of the beautiful countryside.Guest review bySorayaUnited States - 8.0

Kinlochleven is a lovely picturesque little town situated on loch Leven. Being only a short distance from Glencoe, Fort William & Glen Finnan made this the perfect location for me to stay for a couple of nights.Guest review bySmith - 10.0

We found the restaurants such as Moss and the Lochleven Seafood Cafe of a very high standard, everything was close by and the pod accommodation was fun and so well designed for comfort. Even the lady at the petrol station was lovely and jokey. The breakfast at the craft centre was good value and excellent for gifts to take home. It was our first time at Ballachulish, but it wont be our last. Perfect for a weekend get away and ideally suited for longer stays too as the area is spectacular.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom
