- From £289 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 869 reviewsOur room and our bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the food at the bistro where we went every evening was varied and good. We were lucky to have live music one evening at the bistro. The staff were all very kind, helpful and agreeable. For our purposes the hotel location was perfect. We didn’t have a car so it was important to be close to the ferry terminal. We hiked and there are loads of hikes that can be started from the hotel ( no real need to get a bus). Alternatively the bus stops are just on the doorstep if you want to visit the other parts of the islandGuest review byloicBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 346 reviewsLocated in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery and flowers, the Ormidale hotel seems to be torn from a story... a beautiful story! The fresh and abundant green of nature, the silence interrupted only by birds chirping through the leaves, the menus presented on vinyl records from another era, the cheerfulness you meet at every step, the tweed in the room you walk on like forest moss... all these and many more make you glad you chose Ormidale Hotel. And we really were!!Guest review byVasileRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 132 reviewsThe hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.Guest review byAxelleFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 715 reviewsThe Shorehouse is in the front of the sea, it’s a really good location. We were just two but we had two bedrooms, one kitchen and one bathroom! We also had lot of choice on the TV. My boyfriend said that it was his best booking experience!!Guest review byMisakiFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 267 reviewsSuch a lovely place. The couple who runs the place were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate mine and my child’s dairy allergy. As a family we felt very welcome here even with my very tired and grumpy children.Guest review byGeorgiaAustralia

Brodick is a nice little place on the beautiful island of Arran and is well worth a visit for a day trip, a weekend or longer. Arran in general is a great place for a short or long trip to get away from things on the mainland for a bit. just watch out for the midges in the evening.Guest review byalexmiddUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great eating out at the Drift Inn, and other good food places available! Also a v good Coop for packed lunch material. Beautiful shoreline with the most amazing seals balanced on their individual boulders!Guest review byCatherineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The buses were great but not as frequent as I would have liked - but glad they were available. Machrie Moore stone circles was my favorite spot - would be great if that was a regular drop-off and pick-up stop.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Short drive from ferry which was great.
Short drive from ferry which was great. We arrived about 7.30pm and an envelope with name and code for room was waiting on us. Very well organised. Room 1 was great with lovely views and a lovely sofa to chill on. Place was spotless and a comfy bed. No need to close curtains which was lovely as the sun shone on next morning. Breakfast cooked to perfection which you order night before. Loads of places to see and only a short drive. Definitely recommend this place. 👌Guest review bySpence - 8.0

Very small place but there is a hotel and presumably a bar too. Wee roll shop which does great breakfast rolls and sandwiches. Fabulous bakers too. We were on Arran to swim so didn’t use much of the facilities in BWF other than the beach.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Fabulous hotel.
Fabulous hotel. Great location, comfortable bed, good shower and great food with fine service. What's not to like? The island location gives the Corrie a head start and the Corrie is an excellent base for exploring this glorious islandGuest review byRay - 10.0
Wonderful hotel with a lovely ambiance and grounds.
Wonderful hotel with a lovely ambiance and grounds. There is a bus stop outside but otherwise it could be difficult to visit without a car. We hired a car in Edinburgh so we were able to cover a lot of ground around the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Neighbouring bar had a pool table and dart board.Guest review byRohitUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The site is really easy to find and well located for exploited immediate areas of interest like Kings Caves and the fantastic standing stones. The car parks for each are only a minute or two away. It is easy to reach over the String Road from the ferry (Brodick) or even from Lochranza if from Claonaig. Blackwaterfoot is only 10 minutes away by car. So the Ross Road to Lamlash is also easily accessible. In summary very pleasant, clean and well thought out accommodation in a flexible accessible locationGuest review byEricUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Very cool little town with plenty to do for a 3-5 day trip.
Very cool little town with plenty to do for a 3-5 day trip. Great hiking, everything easily accessible on foot. Great base for exploring Isle of Arran. Busses can get you anywhere else in the island you want to be. Easy ferry to the mainland.Guest review byErikUnited States - 10.0
Would recommend Lamlash to stay.
Would recommend Lamlash to stay. Only a short distance from Brodick. Good place to base yourself for travelling to other places on the island. Has got a few places to eat such as Pier Head Tavern haven’t eaten there myself but heard it was really good. We had a lovely meal in the Drift Inn which I would recommend you also have the Glenisle Hotel and of course the Lamlash Bay Hotel.Guest review bymarieUnited Kingdom
