Our room and our bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the food at the bistro where we went every evening was varied and good. We were lucky to have live music one evening at the bistro. The staff were all very kind, helpful and agreeable. For our purposes the hotel location was perfect. We didn’t have a car so it was important to be close to the ferry terminal. We hiked and there are loads of hikes that can be started from the hotel ( no real need to get a bus). Alternatively the bus stops are just on the doorstep if you want to visit the other parts of the island

Such a lovely place. The couple who runs the place were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate mine and my child’s dairy allergy. As a family we felt very welcome here even with my very tired and grumpy children.

The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

The lodge we stayed in was fantastic, very clean and peaceful. Lovely staff, everyone was v helpful. Also appreciated our bags being dropped to the ferry terminal upon checkout.

The room is spacious and the soup with Italian twist was very tasty. It was relaxing and quite. The breakfast was very good and prepared warm. The room also had an incredible view.
